Chapter 6

The cave started to collapse and they both panicked.

Rory then spotted a rock that was about to block the entrance and pushed Sage out, but Rory wasn't about to get out before the rock trapper her in.

"Rory?!" Sage called for her from the other side of the rock. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, i'm fine. It would be nice if I wasn't stuck in a cave though."

"Should I get your dad? I'm sure he'll know what to do."

"No, don't. Just go to the party i'll be fine."

"But your stuck in a cave. How do you expect to get out from that?"

* No response *

"Rory? If you're trying to prank me it's not working."

Rory had seen a green shard and picked it up. But as soon as she did it all went black.

"Hello there, kiddo." A guy that looked surprisingly similar to Camilo appeared in front of Rory.

"Dad..? Did you get a haircut? Is this a prank."

The guy seemed irritated. "No, i'm not your dad. I'm Carlos."

"Ohh so that's why you look weird?"

"I'm here to help you find- Wait how am i weird?

"Nevermind. Are you going to help me find Mirabel and Bruno?"

Camilo was about to say something but Rory cut him off. "Wait! Can you tell me what my dream ment? It was about-"

"Stop talking!"

Rory stopped and looked at Carlos nervously.
"Sorry, I got a bit annoyed. But yes I can explain your dream."

"Ooo yay!"

"I'm the one that spoke to you in the dream."

Rorys expression changed from excitement to confusion but she didn't say anything.

"I shapeshifted into Bruno so i could have a way to talk to you, but I wasn't able to talk in people's dreams after that so I waited until you started investigating to find a way to talk to you."

"...oh."

"Rory! Answer me!" Sages voice broke through.

"Looks like your lovers looking for you." Carlos smirked.

"They're not my- whatever. Are you going to help me find my family?"

"Yes. Now that i met you i'll be able to communicate with you."

"Okay! Bye Carlos."

Carlos faded and Rory was in the cave again.

Rory had gotten out of the cave through a hole and called out for Sage.

"Rory there you are! Why didn't respond when I called for you?"

"Look Know it's crazy but..." Rory explained everything that happened with Carlos.

"Oh wow. That's a lot."

"I know! Im glad we came here to investigate. Thanks for coming with me."

They both made their way back to the festival which was now being cleaned up.

The two went their separate ways to help clean up.
