Amelia's pov
"Goodmorning" I say as soon as I saw Kai walking around the room.
They walked to the bed to kiss me forming a snile on my face
"Someone's in good mood" I say with a teasing tone
"Don't try it" they say. I know that they get annoyed everytime I point out that they're being kind to me.
"Come here and sit cause we have a whole day to spend here in pier" I sat on the table as I was told to.
I looked on my phone and immediately gasped when I saw maggie's text
"What?" Kai asks
"What the fuck?" I said still looking at the phone
"What is it??" Kai asks getting annoyed
"So maggie send me uh a picture of the new resident saying how hot he is and stuff...and look" I show them the phone and they gasped too
"Is that fucking Link?!" Kai said
"Yess I know right. What is he doing here? And I thought he's dumb like patrick star? Then now he's a resident?" I said taking a bite of the food.
"You think he knows you work there?"
"I dont think so. We haven't had any interactions since then."
"Ohh yeah of course. Then you guys will be spending the whole day together from now on, huh?"
"I can avoid him"
"Yeah like he can avoid you" Kai said in a low voice but its enough for me to hear
"He doesn't care about me anymore. besides he's in a relationship. Let's just forget about him cause today will be a fun day, alright?"
"Mhm"
--time skip--
We went to the fair located beside the pier and played lots of fun games and won some stuff toys.
"Want a corndog?" Kai asks
"We should probably do that after we ride the ferris wheel. I dont want you throwing up and shit"
"I do not throw up" Kai said defending themselves
"Yeah sure"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing come here" I pull their wrist and held their waist and Kai put their arms around my shoulders.
We walked and played a few games and finally we're riding the ferris wheel.
"Oh my freaking God this is so exciting" I say acting like a child
We ride the ferris wheel as Kai put their hand on my thigh. I could see the whole place. This is so amazing
"Having fun?" They ask
"So much fun"
"I dont want to ruin the mood or anything, but what's gonna happen now that Link works in the same building as yours?"
"I dont know. The same thing that happens everyday i guess?"
"You sure you wont get all nervous around him?"
"Why would I be? I dont have feelings for him anymore? Oh God are you jealous?" I say as I realized it
"What? no! uh not- no." I laugh at the way they act. seeing them all jealous and stuff is so cute.
"Yeah sure"
"You've been saying that the whole day. will you stop?"
"alright im sorry"
we got off the ferris wheel and took a swim and went back to our hotel.
"You dont look too excited?" I say
"Uh im just tired" I hugged them from the back and kissed their cheeks cause I feel like they've been off since I told them about Link
"You sure?"
"Ok fine. The idea of you and Link being in the same room feels so...wrong"
"Why?"
"I dont know because he's your ex?"
"You sound mad"
"I just I feel like any minute when he sees you, he'll just pull you in an on call room and kiss you and...I dont know amelia. What if you see him and relized that you still like him?"
"You're worried that I'll cheat?"
"Its not like that. I just...I really dont know. Lets just sleep...please" I hugged them tightly to make them feel better
"You're not gonna lose me...atleast not to him" They laughed and kissed me.
Why would they be worried about me cheating? I mean I would never do that.
I love Kai too damn much that I could never cheat on them especially not with link.
