"There're three things that make a champion. The three D's. Desire. Devotion. And discipline. The first two, I can't give you. The last one, I can, but you have to be willing to receive it. Are you?"

"Yes, Sensei!"

"Alright. Junbi stance. Now, I understand you wanna defeat your enemies. And you will when it matters. Until then, just stay focused on your training. Is that understood?"

"Yes, Sensei."

"With conviction."

"Yes, Sensei!"

"Good. Arms out. Attention— Chae-ryut. Kyun-Nae. Dismissed."

Everyone gets ready to leave the dojo, and the five of us get our water bottles.

"Second sensei's working us hard today! Guy's going beast mode! Sucks we can't give a beat down before the tournament."

Kyler may be an asshole, but he's right. Yesterday, Sensei Silver gave the whole class a lecture on not striking first with Miyagi-Do.

"Just because we can't fight doesn't mean we can't get a little payback."

I closed my water bottle, minding my own business.

"You alright, Lawrence? Seem a little tense." Of course Kyler had to be the one to point it out.

"I just— I kind of agree with Sensei Silver on this one. I mean, seriously, if we do something to Miyagi-Do, it's only a matter of time they'll strike again on us. It's a never ending war. It's better to just wait until the tournament."

"It's only a little payback. No harm done." Robby shrugs, making everyone side with him.

"C'mon, Ava, you're like one of the most badass person I know— how could you say no to something like this?" Kyler bumps his side into me.

I notice Kenny had an expression practically begging for me to say yes. "I guess a little payback wouldn't be so bad."

Kyler opened the door, and we see Hawk on his phone, laying down on his stomach.

"Hey, Rico, you good?" He calls out, without looking up from his phone.

I notice he changed the color of his mohawk.

"Tattoo shop's closed for the day."

That's when Hawk finally looks up, and immediately gets off the chair. Kyler's first to move, which causes Hawk to push the chair, hitting all three of them.

When they get ahold of him, Kyler wraps a towel around Hawk's neck, all three pinning him down.

"You weren't that hard to find, you little bitch."

Hawk looks at Tory, "You assholes just ignoring the no-fighting rules?"

"Oh, we're not here to fight." Robby examines the table with all these tattooing tools.

He picks up a blade, and I grab his wrist.

"No harm, huh?" I mock his words from earlier.

"We're not carving into his body, relax. Just a little trim." He smirks, and walks in front of Hawk.

When I step next to Robby, he hands the blade to me.

"Your move."

I grab the blade, afraid of what I'm gonna do with it. I look at Hawk; only receiving the look of fear.

But, listening to Robby's words— I make the first move.

Bye bye, Hawk.
