The lonely captain

Part 30

he nods slowly letting out small hiccups taking deep breaths like they were telling him to do. he felt one of them move the teddy making him panic a bit but he soon realized why. closing his eyes he felt his mommy's heartbeat and slowly he had calmed down enough that hange was able to finish cleaning his hand. he did tear up again and had the occasion whines of protest but other than that he was doing better than before. once it was all cleaned up he felt something cold spread across his palm. 

he opened his eyes to see his hand being wrapped up in a bandage. "nwo needwes?" he tilted his head to Zoe and giggled when she nodded. "no needles. it wasn't deep enough to need stitches but you do need to keep the cut clean as well as change the bandage if it gets wet or dirty." she stood up and fluffed his hair smiling at him. "next time be careful ok. throw the glass away then get rid of the bag..." petting his hair Zoe left happily and went back to her room to keep experimenting on things brought back from their expeditions

once Levi was completely calm he got up from the bed and went over to his desk trying to color on his paperwork. he was quickly picked up before any damage could be done and then given some plain sheets of paper and some crayons. picking a green crayon up he drew grass as well as a horse eating it. he giggled and then started biting the crayon in his hand while looking up at his mommy. she bent down grabbing the crayon then left the room going to the dining room where the cadets were eating. 

 sighing she went into the kitchen grabbing a small portion for Levi of the rice and beef smiling as jean kept his gaze away from her. she never did eat with everyone else unless she was with Levi and the others as the cadets were always so loud and normally starting fights with each other. mainly jean and eren so whenever they cadets ate the two would leave the door open a small bit so they could listen for the sounds of yelling and punching. Levi was normally the first one to break up the fight but if he had work to do Lilith would take care of it and thats why they made such a great team. they were so similar to each other in every way and knew the pain they both went through.
