luckily for the two the cadets were inside cleaning up the eating area as it had mud everywhere. Levi wanted to yell at them for the mess but he held himself back as it was raining outside and mud was probably everywhere but also because they were activity cleaning it up. noticing the two they stopped cleaning to look at them. "good you realize we have something to tell you." the captain started to speak while looking at his partner. "It no secret that I was sick recently, im still not fully recovered but in that time you were getting instructions from Lilith. I know some of you didn't like that you were being told what to do by a cadet. but that's because she was helping me recover." 

he noticed the looks of a few of them mainly eren and jean and sighed as he said the next part. "I know you have been here longer but Lilith is older and more mature than you. if you guys dont like what Im about to say deal with it. the commander and section commander agree about this. Lilith is your new captain so I expect you to treat her as such." as soon as this was said eren growled and jean just mocked Levi. "yeah right shes just captain because you two are sleeping together! we see the way you two look at each other!" jean was furious at the fact they had to take orders from a newbie. 

Levi looked at Lilith and sighed and he was about to go off on jean but she stopped him. "ok and. so what if were sleeping together. were both adults and second of all I've been doing this a lot longer than you. before I joined I was an assassin, so Im smart and can think on my feet to get out of situations, the amount of death that I have witnessed is more than you have seen in your lifetime. Im trained how to use the ODM gear more than you think and honestly am near Levi when it comes to skill because of how many people have been killed by my hand. now before you open you mouth that was in my past so yes im sleeping with Levi because he understands where I came from." 

jean and everyone else just stood there mouths open in shock. she sighed. "clothes your mouth and get back to cleaning, and as for you jean. you get to go clean all the bathrooms. pretty sure they haven't been cleaned in a while." once she was done talking and jean had been put in his place he just walked away muttering things. but he couldn't get out of his punishment. the cadets went back to cleaning and Levi walked away with Lilith shocked at how well she handled the situation, once back in there room there was a note left by hange. 'in a few weeks its that time where everyone has to get their shots, Ill make sure yours and Lilith are last. but I wanted to give you a heads up.'
