Wei Ying's POV
It is my first day studying at Gusu I don't know what exactly Uncle has planned for me, but I will accept any challenge to become a strong cultivator like Lan Zhan. I have been suffering from homework here, but I am trying my best to catch up, since I was dedicated enough I am now at a close enough level, today we start sword training.
Lan Qiren: Alright now today we will start sword training for the competition of Young Swordsman Clan Competition.
Oh yea we were all gonna participate in a competition, is a fight between all small clan members like from 7-9 years old, all the clans were going to be there, I was excited I wanted to meet new clans because the only clan I have seen in Lan Clan, I have read about them a lot too, but right now we are all training with swords, and thankfully I got paired up with Lan Zhan.
Wei Ying: Ok, so do we start
Lan Zhan: Ok
Me and Lan Zhan have been training a lot, the Lan Clan sword movement we learned it but me and Lan Zhan made a special move since we like to practice by ourselves we have done it pretty well we just need to adjust it a little.
Wei Ying: Lan Zhan you ready
Lan Zhan: *nods*
Wei Ying: *throws sword in the air and does a cartwheel then a small backflip and catches the sword and touches the opponent*
Lan Zhan: Good job, let me try mine.
Wei Ying: Ok *gets into position*
Lan Zhan: *throughs the sword down near the opponents knee and jumps over the small opponent and land nicely on his feet and quickly grabs his sword and touches opponent*
Wei Ying: It is good but you should do it faster or else your opponent will take your sword and you can lose the fight, and hold your sword like this. *grabs his hand in puts it in the right position*
Lan Zhan: *ears turn red* (his hand is so warm, the only warmth I remember feeling like this is mom and brother, father never gave this type of warmth, but is so different I don't know how to describe it) Thank you.. *give a small smile
Wei Ying: Ehehe no problem and I like to see you smile, but we should practice more. *moves in practice position and puts a small flower in his head before starting*
Lan Zhan: Wei- Lan Ying...
Wei Ying: Is ok to call me Wei Ying, and *kisses cheeks before attacking him*
After a While
Wei Ying: Sorry Lan Zhan
Lan Zhan: Hmph, I hate chu
Wei Ying: I apologize Lan Wanji, I promise I won't do it again, I am going to go to the library and start my homework.
Lan Zhan: Waa, I am sorry, please I was never angry... I like it when you kiss my cheeks...
Wei Ying: Haha, Lan Zhan I know, but I seriously got to do homework now or else Uncle will get mad at me, you have to stay here and rest you did an extra hour of training.
Lan Zhan: Nu, I will rest when you do
Wei Ying: *sigh* There is really no point of arguing with you, you will just argue with me till I let you, just follow and just sit beside me.
In the Library
Wei Ying: Alright you stay here and read a book or something I will do my homework there.
Lan Zhan: Ok
*sigh* Lan Zhan is so stubborn, I really like Lan Zhan but seriously can he learn not to be so stubborn but oh well. Me doing my same mistake for the who knows what time, writing Wei Ying on my paper instead of Lan Ying, I like the name Lan Ying, but I still love my old name, but I got to get use to it I can't go without using my old name at least a few times a day, but oh well. Thankfully I didn't have much homework to do, so I can have some free time before sleeping.
Wei Ying: Lan Zhan, I finished we can go back to our room now and have dinner.
Lan Zhan: Ok
At Dinner
Lan Qiren: Ok you 3, listen here next month all the clans are gonna have the swordsman competition, in this case it is the young ones. You guys will train hard for the swordsman competition next month, so you guys have to train hard this month to be ready, Understood?
Lan Zhan/Xichen/Ying: Understood Uncle
Wei Ying: May I be excused I finished my dish.
Lan Qiren: Yes you may Lan Ying
Before going to bed I like going to the small garden in the Lan Clan is so peaceful, I love the Lan Clan I could never be more grateful, but my favorite thing here is Lan Zhan, I adore him a lot.
Lan Zhan: Wei Ying is almost 9 we have to sleep.
Wei Ying: Lan Zhan come here
Lan Zhan: Ok *walks towards him and sits besides him*
Wei Ying: Lan Zhan *grabs his cheeks* your pretty just like this garden I want to be your best friend forever, I want to forever be by your side your the most important person to me.
Lan Zhan: I want to be your best friend forever too. *ears turns red*
Wei Ying: *hugs him and makes him put his head on his lap* Just admire the calm atmosphere.

These 2 were made for each other, Wei Ying and Lan Zhan I never seen him this happy, I think Wei Ying made him really happy.... Wait what is that
Wei Ying: LET HIM GO, LET LAN ZHAN GO
???: Haha we will make a lot of money out of you kid
Lan Zhan: L-Let me go,
Lan Zhan/Ying: UNCLE
Lan Qiren: What are you doing to my nephews
???: I am taking this one now bye
Lan Clan members come in and grab the hold of the guy.
Wei Ying's POV
After what just happened Lan Zhan just ran to me while that guy was put into jail, but after that something in me snapped, is like a feeling... that I want to protect Lan Zhan... I need to...
