Lan Ying's POV
It's been a few days since we left the Lotus Pier and I can't simply get that sword of my mind I wish I could but I will just let it be for now. I still want to become a strong swords man to protect Lan Zhan (he is your husband-) specially from evil people, Wen Zhou I am looking at you.
Lan Qiren: Ok children as you know there is many different clans, these are some examples of clans, Wen, Jin, Jiang, Nie, and the Lan Clan.
Lan Qiren: All of these clans have differents history, but for many generations all the clans have existed to get rid of evil, or free the good from the dead.
Lan Qiren: But for now we are going to focus on the Lan Clan, our clan.
Lan Huan: Uncle what are we going to learn first?
Lan Qiren: We are going to learn all the rules.
Lan Ying: *stares is shock and says in a low tone* Oh no
After the boring lecture
Lan Ying: I probably won't be able to memorize all the rules before the exam....
Lan Zhan: I am sure you can, we can help each other I still need to remember all the rules myself
Lan Ying: Thank you Lan Zhan
Right now me and Lan Zhan we just talking and doing homework, but also learning about the different clans
Lan Zhan: Wei Ying listen to this, the Jin Clan's symbol is based off a Tree Peony Paeonia, or also known as Venus Snow Wave
Lan Ying: Huh interesting listen to this, the founder of the Jiang Clan was called Jiang Chi, and the clan's motto is "attempt the impossible"
Lan Qiren: Boys what are you doing?
Lan Zhan: Uncle me and Wei- Lan Ying were studying the different clans around us, not only Gusu
Lan Qiren: Good choice
A day after
Thankfully today is our day off so we are just in the market doing some shopping and and looking around, but that is something we don't do that often me and Lan Zhan are usually just in our room reading or just talking to each other.
Lan Ying: Lan Zhan do you like the food here?
Lan Zhan: Is nice
Lan Ying: I am really glad ehehe
Random: Woah what is going on outside?
Random #2: I think one of the clans is here
Wen Clan Member: GIVE US YOUR BEST TABLE
Worker: R-right this way sir
Wen Zhou: Y-YOU?!
Lan Ying: Yea me what about me?
Wen Zhou: YOU WERE THE ONE THAT PUNCHED ME
Lan Ying: I apologize for that you were making fun of my friend so I couldn't just sit there and watch my friend been bullied
Wen Zhou: STOP WITH YOUR STUPID FORMALITIES
Lan Ying: They teached me to be like this I can't do much I am sorry
Lan Zhan: Lan Ying l-lets just go
Wen Zhou: I AM NOT DONE WITH YOU
Lan Ying: We can finish this argument another time
Wen Zhou: YO-
Lan Ying: Have a nice day
I just wanted a peaceful day with Lan Zhan but of course something had to ruin in it, oh well
Lan Ying: Should we go back to Gusu?
Lan Zhan: Yea today is the day I got to see my mother I am pretty sure she will come and get me this time is been almost a year since I seen her...
Lan Ying: I will wait with you no matter what
I feel so bad for Lan Zhan, Uncle told me that his mom was gone just like mine.... I don't want to tell Lan Zhan because I don't want to crush his heart full of hope...
A Few Hours Later
Me and Lan Zhan just kept waiting here, Lan Zhan just feel asleep but it looks like is about to start raining so I gave Lan Zhan a piggy back ride back home and lay him on bed.
Wei Ying: My beautiful Lan Zhan how am I supposed to tell you that your mom is gone like mine, I don't want to see you sad....
During Those Hours of Waiting
Lan Zhan: Wei Ying why don't you go I can wait by myself
Wei Ying: *hugs Lan Zhan* I will wait for you here no matter what, your my best friend (I think you ment husband-)
Lan Zhan: *ears turn red and hugs him back* T-thank you Wei Ying
Me and Lan Zhan just played with the flowers while waiting, and Lan Zhan looked so pretty with flowers on his head.
Lan Zhan: W-Wei Ying t-those m-mommy h-hate m-me
Wei Ying: NO OF COURSE NOT MAYBE SHE IS JUST SICK? I can promise you she doesn't hate you
I want to tell him but I don't want to see him sad, if I ever saw him sad my heart would break.... I don't want to tell him his mom is gone......
Back to the Present
I just want to see Lan Zhan to keep hoping that maybe one day his mother would open up, I wished she would.... To see his eyes full of happiness and hope...
I want to see him happy and for him to be full of joy....
