Lizzie POV-
"You know what?! I'm leaving too! If you can't accept that I love y/n as more then a friend, then I don't want to be around any of you! I can't believe you kicked her out! You barely know her and didn't even give her a chance. I'm done!"
I storm out of the room and up the stairs to find y/n and tell her that I am leaving with her. When I open the door my face drops as I see all her stuff gone and a note left on my dresser.
I pick the note up and start to read it.
Lizzie,
I'm sorry that I didn't get the chance to properly say goodbye but I couldn't stand to get yelled at by your father again. I don't want you ruining your relationship with your family because of me. I know how much your family means to you and I couldn't get in the way of that. I know that I haven't told you this before but you are the love of my life and I will do anything for you no matter how much it hurts me. I love you so much and I hope that you can repair things with your family because know what it's like to lose them and I don't want you to go through that. I promise you that I will see you again. Just give it time.
I love you.
-Y/nTears are streaming down my face as I finish reading the note. This can't really be happening. She's gone.
I can feel the anger inside of me building up.Storming down the stairs I rush straight to my father slapping him right across the face as hard as I can. I can hear my mother and sisters gasp but I could care less right now. He deserves this. Actually he deserves much worse.
"She's gone because of you!" I scream at him squeezing my fists, probably leaving nail marks in my skin.
"Liz I know you are angry but you will see it's for the best. Go upstairs and cool off and I will talk to you in the morning," he tells me and that makes me even more mad. How is he so calm?! He's acting as if he didn't just ruin my whole life.
"Don't Liz me! And I can't pretend that my soulmate didn't just walk out the door not even ten minutes ago. She cares so much about me that she decided it was best to leave me to repair my relationship with my family because she knows how important that is to me. She lost most of her family and doesn't want me to go through the same thing. But you know what? I think it's too late for that because I have lost all respect and never want to see you again!" I scream and rush upstairs grabbing all of my things.
Tears are still sliding down my face, filling my eyes and blurring my vision. I don't even care right now. The only thing I care about is finding y/n and making sure she is okay. I can't lose her.
I drag everything downstairs and just as I am about to leave someone grabs my arm closing the door and locking it.
"Where do you think you are going?" My father says and I tug my arm away from his grip.
"I think you know exactly where I am going. Now unlock the door," I tell him and he doesn't move.
"I can't let you leave or this will all be for nothing. Believe me Elizabeth. It's for the best." He says again.
"You keep saying that! It's not for the best! You think it is but it's not. Your mind is so closed off and set how you imagine things should be. Just be open to something different. Something that makes me happy. Can't you see that I'm happy dad? I happier then I have ever been so why does it matter who is causing the happiness?! Just let me be happy, please!" I beg is him as I break down falling to my knees. I can't even try to hide how I am feeling as the emotions are overwhelming my body.
