Chapter 31: Fights and Promises

"How could you do that to me!!" Lizzie screams and throws a pillow at me from off of the couch.

"Lizzie just listen to me!" I scream back after catching the pillow. I throw it back on the couch and walk closer to Lizzie.

"How am I supposed to listen to you when I can't even look at you?!" She yells and turns around slowly walking away.

"Lizzie wait! Please just let me explain! Everything will make sense if you please just listen to me for two minutes. After that, if you still want to leave I guess you can even though it would break me," I plead and she turns around.

"Fine! I'm listening. You have two minutes and that's it," she says staring me down.

"Ok, it's not what you think. I did not cheat on you and never would I can promise you that. What happened was my ex texted me and asked if I wanted to go out with her. I shot her down and told her that I'm in a happy relationship and love my girlfriend very much. Then she got pissed and told me I'm going to regret it, and I have the pictures to prove it," I ramble quickly still holding her attention.

"Then she jumped me right in front of the paparazzi on purpose so that they would make a story out of it. She kissed me and I pushed her off of me and told her to fuck off before I ran away to come to find you. But the time I got home you already say the headlines which didn't give me time to explain," I tell her.

"Lizzie I love you so much and you mean the world to me and I would never do anything EVER that would hurt you. Never," I finish and she stares silently for a minute.

"Are you finished?" She asks and I nod.

"I don't think I can trust you anymore. I need to think. I'll go stay with Scarlett for a while. Goodbye y/n," she says and she asks out the door.

"Lizzie wait!" I cry out but as soon as the door shuts I fall to my knees and burst out in tears.

I am shaken awake by Lizzie as she called my name.

"Y/n are you okay? What happened? You're crying in your sleep," she explains as she sees me wake up.

I sit up and quickly wrap my arms around her squeezing her tight barring my head into her neck.

"I'm so sorry," I cry out. "Please don't ever leave me," I say letting the tears escape from my eyes.

"Awe y/n I would never leave you! Did you have a bad dream?" She asks and I nod placing my head back into her neck. She holds me tight with one hand in my hair and one rubbing my back.

"Where's Scarlett?" I ask once I calm down.

"She went to bed. You fell asleep on me while we were watching a movie and I didn't want to wake you," she explains and I get butterflies in my stomach. She's the best.

"I love you so so much," I tell her and she kisses my head.

"I love you too y/n," she responds. "Time for bed?" She asks.

"Yes. Cuddles too?"

"Uh duh!" she says making me laugh.

She picks me up and carry's me to my, well... our bedroom now. She places me on the bed and throws some pj's at me which hit me right in the face.

"Hey!" I say getting her attention.

"Sorry, you're just a big target," she jokes and I roll my eyes.

"I'm just kidding, you're perfect, in every way." She says and jumps on top of me, pushing me onto my back. Shivers go down my spine as she runs her hand up the side of my body all the way into my hair running her fingers through.
