I was, in fact, not over Magda Eriksson - not even close.

Having a past history that's very complicated and unique, it was hard to just act as if seeing her back here in London wasn't making me feel something - being resentment for leaving without turning back, or affection that's been here since police school. It always has been tensed between the two of us: we were rivals back then, and now, although I am a detective and she is a forensics expert, we were still rivals today.

Right before she left London for this exciting job in Russia, we got into this huge fight about a case we were investigating (at the time we were working in a small police station, not yet with MI6 like today), that ended up in them confronting this ambiguous relationship they had, before sleeping together that same night. The morning after, I woke up alone in my bed, as Magda left the country that very morning without saying goodbye.

We hadn't talked since - that was three years ago - until she came back storming into my life, getting hired in Section 17. And that ambiguous and incomprehensible love-hate relationship between the two of us - it's like, I often say I hate her so much that I love her in some kind of twisty way - was still present.

This morning, when I got to my desk after a short night of sleep after the conversation Mel and I had over a glass of wine, I immediately see Alexia waving at me to join her and the girls inside her office.

"Hey Luce!" the Spanish exclaims, smiling at me.

"Hi" I say, smiling back, as well at Daan and Ana, explicitly losing my smile when I cross Magda's eyes. I then look at the screen, before saying: "What have you guys been up to?"

Ana smirks.

"Oh, some old lil' murder for ya" the Swiss lets out, amused. As I smirk as well, she adds, pointing at the screen: "This is Maren Mjelde for you, aka the Norwegian MI6 asset that was assigned to the local underground black market here in London. She was found this morning in her apartment, dismembered, probably while she was still alive."

"It seems personal" Daan adds, before zooming out on one of the part of Maren's body. As we can now see an acronym cut into the recently deceased skin, 'ACAB', she adds: "We believe Mjelde's cover was blown and that someone from the Argentinian cartel found out she was a spy for MI6."

"What does that have to do with the ongoing investigation surrounding Zerika Musovic's murder?" I ask, confused.

This time, Magda starts talking, changing the slides, where we see a picture of Maren and Zeka talking together at some unknown location.

After staring at me in defiance, the blonde explains:

"It appears as if our friend Zeka was more aware than TVK thought - we need to talk to Aitana, because it's possible that one of her own has betrayed her..."
