The final scene was set: or that's what Ingrid thought: the Norwegian was looking at the ground, tears filling up her eyes. Tonight was the night were everything would end - the Velvet Killers, all the murders, the treasons... and nobody was safe enough to be out of danger. She knew that, of course, especially looking into Ona and Lucy's eyes earlier: they just left her tied up in the middle of an abandoned warehouse, turning her phone on, knowing damn well that the police would track its signal down.

When the door opens, and the voices fill up her ears, Ingrid just sighs: this is it. Tonight, she will lose someone she deeply cares about.

Ona is holding the gun on her throat, setting her jaw: when the MI6 agents burst into the room, they soon understand they don't have much choice but to wait for their boss' orders... Shelina enters the room in a powerful manner, before raising her hand, telling her guards to stand down and not shoot... yet at least.

Setting her jaw, the blonde asks:

"So, from what I've gathered, we're not in that place to party or whatever, so you might as well tell us what's going on, Battle."

Behind her, in a bulletproof vest, Alexia enters as well, followed by Caitlin and Magda, who seem furious after the loss of one of their own only days ago.

Ona smirks, before settling:

"You're more beautiful than you are smart, Agent Zadorsky."

As soon as those words left her mouth, as Ingrid's muffed screams resonate in Shelina's ears, gunshot break the tensed silence, as every agent except Shelina and Alexia fall on the ground because of snipers, dead. Turning around and seeing her agents on the ground, Shelina just lets a loud scream out, before pointing her gun at Ona.

But before she does anything, an evil laughter resonates in the room. Simultaneously, both Shelina and Alexia lift their eyes, and when they realize they are surrounded by snipers and machine guns, they know they don't stand a fucking chance. They lower their weapons, and when Lucy appears in their field of view, right behind Ona and Ingrid, every piece of the puzzle is now complete.

Smirking, Lucy just claps her hands slowly and sarcastically, before she exclaims:

"Bravo! Bravo! Despite being definitely the highest number in terms of headcount, you managed to miserably fail ! I mean, you could as well have killed yourselves that it would've been the same exact thing! All I needed was you two in the same place: the heiress and her spouse."

Frowning, Alexia just takes a step closer, fearless, before declaring:

"I just don't get it: you're just doing that for money and power?"

"What else for, uh?" Lucy asks, amused.

"I don't know..." Shelina lets out, setting her jaw, "... maybe because your little sister's life is at stake?"

The confident smile on Lucy's face suddenly disappears, as Ona turns her head toward her, confused. Ingrid, on the other hand, just exchanges a look with Alexia, as her eyes seemed deeply sad all of a sudden.

After a long silence, the dark-haired Brit just crosses her arms against her chest, quite amused.

"Oh, my darlings, since you're going to die here, maybe you deserve the truth at least. Ona?"

The Spanish girl sets her jaw, before walking away from Ingrid and the chair she is currently sitting on, before her eyes are set on something at the end of the room, hidden in the dark: a shadow.

Before anyone else sees it, she just turns around, acting as if she hadn't seen anything: she wasn't sure of it, and if she disturbed the plan, they might as well all die given the number of bombs hidden in the building.
