leicester city v chelsea fc
king power stadium

Archie cheered as he and Elle sat in the away end of Leicester's stadium, sporting his Chelsea jersey with 'Rice 25' on the back, gifted to him from Elle himself. Elle wasn't wearing any teams colours, she supported Manchester United and had done since she was a kid, so wearing either kit was a no-no for her.

Her eyes scanned the pitch for her best friend who was captaining the match, a proud smile on her face as she waved at the blonde with excitement. ISABELLE RICE slyly waved back before the match started, both her and Archie cheering her on like never before.

When half-time came around, with Chelsea one-nil up, Elle took Archie to the bathroom and watched all the guys look at her weirdly for being in there whilst she waited with a smirk. Once her son had finished, she took him to get a drink and then back to their seat just as the match was starting up again.

"Go Auntie Issie!" Archie shouts when he sees her net the second Chelsea goal, cheering his little heart out as she celebrates on the pitch. Elle smiled and ruffled his hair up, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of his head afterwards.

She hadn't realised that she had a pair of eyes on her, staring at her as she cheered along with her son and the rest of the Chelsea supporters around her. He had expected to see her here today, Issie had told him she would be here and that she was going to let them meet, nerves settling in when the match had finished.

"Alright, we're gonna stay for a little bit then find Auntie Issie, sound good?" Elle asks as she sits in her seat, quickly messaging Simon a video she took of him cheering so he could watch it whenever he woke up.

"Can we get ice cream on the way home?" Archie asks, looking up at Elle and batting his eyelashes cutely.

"Stop using my tricks on me, Squishy." Elle laughs, letting her eyes roam the deserted stadium. She and Archie left the stands and went down to the changing rooms walking past them and waiting at the end of the hall for them.

A few of the Leicester plays walked out and spotted her, giggling away between themselves as they had recognised her from their teammates Instagram. She had noticed this, and noticed a few of the players that had been commenting on them too, smiling at them kindly whilst Archie hid himself away.

"Oh look at you dressed in blue!" Issie grins as she walks out of the changing rooms, hugging Archie tightly when he runs up to her.

"The only time he will ever wear blue." Elle reminds her best friend, watching her roll her eyes. The three of them started to leave the stadium so they could get home, Archie running in front of them then stopping to let his Mum and Aunt catch up every once in a while.

"Boo."

"Jesus Christ!" Issie and Elle say simultaneously, hands over their hearts as they turned to see none other than BEN CHILWELL standing there grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

"Jesus Christ!" Archie copies.

"You're not allowed to say that, you already got a gold star off of your puppy chart for hurting Daddy, let's not make it two." Elle firmly scolds her son, taking hold of his hand as she looked at the brunette left-back behind her.

"You've even got the reflective trainers on, go on, give us a runway show." Elle grins, moving some hair out of her face as Ben does as asked, turning and flipping his imaginary hair at the end of the makeshift runway.

"God men make me cringe." Issie laughs.

"Are they nice enough for you?" Ben questions, leaning against the wall as he looked at Elle.

"They're disgusting."

"Mine are cooler." Archie shrugs confidently, all three adults looking down at him as he smiles.

"Give us a show then." Ben encourages him, watching the young boy walk down the corridor with his shoes lighting up every time he stepped.

"Wait, they're even cooler." Elle pauses their cheers, nodding at her little boy who then started to roll around on them.

"Lightning McQueen Heelys?! Oh they're definitely cooler than mine." Ben exclaims, making the young one laugh.

Elle looked between Issie and Ben a few times before narrowing her eyes, watching how easy it was for Issie to crack under her wrath. Elle simply shook her head, looking at Archie who was still rolling up and down the corridor on his shoes.

"Do you play football?" Archie questions out of the blue, looking at Ben.

"I do, do you play football?" Ben replies, kneeling down to his height.

"I do on Sundays, Daddy takes me. Mummy wants me to play for Manchester United but Daddy wants me to play for Leeds, so I'm not gonna play for either." He grins cheekily, laughing when Elle ruffles his hair up again.

"He's gonna play for Chelsea like Auntie Issie, aren't you kiddo?" Issie grins. Archie simply shrugs before wheeling away on his Heely's again, Elle, Issie and Ben all following him until they get outside to the car park. Issie bid her goodbyes and got onto the Chelsea team bus, both Elle and Archie looking around for her car.

"By any chance is it this one?" Ben asks, pointing to the one parked next to his and the only other car in the lot.

"Funny, I couldn't see it over your giant lump of a car." Elle huffs, unlocking it for Archie to get in.

"Y'know you're not as sweet as people make you out to be, Gabrielle." Ben smirks.

"Yeah, I did my googling too."

"You're 20 and still wear light-up shoes, babe, let's not start. I'll see you on the 12th of Never, Chilwell!" Elle beams, looking him in the eye for a moment before she got into her car. Ben just laughed, shaking his head whilst watching her drive away from the stadium with her music playing loud enough for him to hear.

"Just you wait."
