𝐴𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑜𝑚𝑦 | 𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 1

The school bell went, I walked out of maths class and down the hall to where my locker was... I saw Julie coming over "hey J wait up" I said as I closed my locker, taking out any books I needed for next period. I ran over to her locker where I saw her and Flynn standing "hey Molina, hey Taylor" I greeted as I got to them "hey Jules" Flynn laughed turning over to Julie "OK, I know you don't want me to ask you this but...have you figured out what you're going to do today" She asked Julie "I'll know in the moment" we all sighed at her response "Seriously Jules that's all you're giving me" Flynn said disappointed "Yeah Mrs. Harrison said this was your last chance" Julie sighed "I know. I was there guys" we all heard that same voice..... "See you at the rally" the voice said "UGH what is she handing out" Flynn said "desperation" Julie mutters "no I think she's handing out dead hairs that fell out of her million dollar wig collection" I said causing them both to laugh "most likely" Flynn responded

she walked over to the three of us "here you go. My group's performing at the spirit rally tomorrow.. I'm sure you guys have nothing better to do." She said handing us all flyers "Oh My Gosh, Carrie, thanks" Flynn says imitating the tone in her voice "Oh my gosh, Flynn, Don't bother coming!" Carrie snapped back at her as she rolled her eyes "Bold of you to assume we'd even want to" I said mocking her she just rolled her eyes. She walked away and as soon as she did.... Flynn crumpled the paper in her hands.

"uhh Julie, Julie.... EARTH TO JULIE" I said waving my hand in front of her eyes that were staring directly at the blonde boy she'd liked since forever "Nick? Still....?" Flynn asked "You know they're going to get married and have a bunch of unholy babies" Flynn added "Nick's a sweetheart" Julie said defending him I just put my hand over my head and shook it "no...he stooped so low to dating miss 'look at me'" I said "and you'd have to talk to him to actually know that" Flynn said eyeing him "and only one of them has to be a demon to make a demon baby..." I nodded at Flynn's response "you know she's right" I said to Julie "DEMON!" Flynn shouted over and looked back chuckling "come on we should go" I said "let's go prove everyone wrong" Flynn said before we got to class....

We were sitting waiting for Julie's turn. Nick was playing his guitar and honestly the riff was good I have to admit. His performance ended and everyone started clapping for him "well Nick that was impressive, not as impressive as your game against Glendale" Mrs Harrison added "we have one last performance....Julie" We turned to Julie. I held her hand as she sighed pulling her hat off her head "You can do this J" I said to her. She opened her book and set it on top of the piano, she deeply sighed then sat down.... we were all waiting for a minute "Come on Molina" I whispered to myself.... But Nothing. Nothing. Julie stood up from the piano "I'm sorry" she said to Mrs Harrison... the room was silent for a moment until of course Carrie had to have an input "Is this when we clap" me and Flynn looked at each other then rolled our eyes... "watch it Carrie" Flynn said as we both ran off to get Julie.

"Julie come back!" We shouted at her as she ran off. she ran down the stairs a bit then stopped "Julie you better get back here. And show them you can sing!" Flynn said a hint of sadness in her voice echoed in the empty school halls "I've tried for myself....I've tried for Mrs Harrison, I've tried for you both, I've tried for dad and I've tried for mom....." she shouts up at us with tears forming in her eyes "for a whole year, I've been trying..." She adds I try come toward here a little bit but she stops me "No. I can't do this anymore...I can't. I'm done." She runs down the rest of the staircase then out the door while Flynn calls her name. "Flynn I think we have to give her some space the rest of the day" I say to here "I agree" she sighs.....

I got home and my mom was there "How was school?" she asked "oh you know.... school was school" I responded. I went up to my room and dropped my bag. It's been a long day.... especially with everything that happened today with Julie. I decided to pick up my ukulele and began to sing one of my favourite songs. Astronomy by Conan Gray.

A/N: Honestly I've always wanted to write a JATP fic so I decided to write one for the icon himself Alex. I'm still angry at Netflix for cancelling the show as the representation in the show is so much better than the new ones that they are putting out, especially since this show is a 'kids show' It's important for kids to grow up with the representation that this show has. for example: LGBTQIA+ representation is hardly ever seen in kids programmes and also the Latino representation.
