Sana pushed open the door to be greeted with a blast of warm air and the smell of coffee in the air. She walked through the cozy coffee shop to order her usual, and as she waits she instinctively looks at a booth in the corner. She smiles when she sees a familiar face flush and hide behind her book. Her order is ready and she sits one booth away from her... friend? Acquaintance?

Their relationship, if you could even call it that, consisted of them glancing at each other from a booth away every weekday after Sana finished her Uni classes. She suspected the girl she spent her time looking at went to the same school. (Her sweater with the University's emblem may have given it away.) Sana knew her taste in literature better than her. She had a taste for the renaissance era and Emily Dickinson. Sana was definitely intrigued by her choices.

'I hope I get to know her someday soon.'

Sana stayed until closing, just like every other day. The employees knew her by name and bid her a kind goodbye. "Yeah, I'll see you later Nayeon." She braced herself for the cold air outside and walked to her dorm.

The next morning was hectic to say the very least. Her alarm didn't go off, her roommate had a cold, and her laundry wasn't done. "How many times have I told you not to drink from other people's cups? You know your immune system is weaker than a paper bridge." Her roommate pouted. Sana sighed. "Just make sure you drink enough water, okay? I'll stop by at lunch to make sure you take another dose of medicine."

"Thank you, Satang." Sana smiled. "Always, Mitang." She quickly got dressed in whatever she could find and sped out the door with her bag. She ended up only being a little late to her first class. "Hey, sorry I'm late," she quietly greeted her professor and searched for an open seat. Her eyes lit up when she saw that familiar face. She decided this was the day she steps further into what she hoped would be a great experience.

"Hi, can I sit here?" The dark-haired girl looked up and her face flushed. "Um, yeah, s-sure." Sana smiled warmly and settled in next to her. She sat through the lesson and quietly admired the mystery girl's handwriting. 'So sharp, I wonder what kind of person she is?' She lost track of time and before she knew it, the class was over. Before they could leave, Sana introduced herself. "Hi, my name is Sana, nice to meet you!" The girl looked at her and saw the amusement in her eyes. She played along. "Momo, likewise."

'Momo.' Then, they were off to their next class. Sana kept her promise to her roommate and stopped by at lunch. "What has you so happy?" Sana smiled as she poured Mina's medicine. "More like who." Mina was suddenly very interested. "You know the girl from the coffee shop?" Mina smiled. "You mean the girl with 'the softest brown eyes I've ever seen?' That one?" Sana huffed. "Yes, that one. She's in my psych class, her name is Momo."

Mina begrudgingly took the medicine. "Momo is a nice name." Sana nodded with a smile on her face. "Momo." She couldn't dwell on it much longer as her alarm started blasting. "I'll be back around seven. You know the drill." Mina bid her goodbye and Sana was off to campus once again. The rest of the day was a blur of textbooks and Momo. Sana barely registered what anyone was saying in her lectures, she was simply too excited for coffee that day.

She entered the coffee shop with a pep in her step and ordered her regular. She glanced at Momo's booth and her smile faltered. Momo looked really sad. She got her coffee and sat down at her usual booth. She debated whether or not to go over to Momo. Her mind was made up when she saw the girl wipe a tear from her face. She let Mina know she might be home late.

"Hey, is this seat taken?" Momo looked up and was sort of relieved to see Sana. "No." Sana sat across from her. They sat in silence for a moment when neither of them knew what to say. "Are you alright?" Momo looked up when she heard the question. She took comfort in her kind eyes. "No, not really." Momo felt like she could trust Sana. "Do you want to talk about it?" Momo sighed and put her face in her hands.
