Nayeon tiredly opened the door to the hotel room she shared with Jeongyeon, tossing her bag down and falling face-first into the king-sized bed. "Why were they barking?" Jeongyeon walked in and mumbled the question into the air. Nayeon said something in reply, but it was muffled by the comforter. "What was that?" Nayeon huffed and rolled onto her back. "I saw a sign that said 'do you need a dog?' so I'm assuming they were just being gay again." Jeongyeon snorted.

She walked to her luggage and changed, she could feel Nayeon's eyes on her as she pulled an old hoodie over her head. "You looked really good today, Jeong." Nayeon smiled at the blush that spread across the younger woman's face. "Thanks. You did too. You look good every day though, so..." Nayeon giggled and got up to change herself. The t-shirt she chose to wear to bed was one of Jeongyeon's, it was a plain white tee with a little tiny logo in the corner.

"That's where that went!" Nayeon looked up while she dug around in her suitcase for some shorts. "It's really comfy, I'll give it back tomorrow." Jeongyeon shook her head and sat down on the bed. "No, it's okay. You look really good in it." Nayeon smiled and changed into some shorts. She plopped down next to Jeongyeon with her switch and Jeongyeon grabbed hers off the bedside table. "What should we do this time?" Nayeon was already on her way to Jeongyeon's island. "I was thinking we could go to the restaurant on the paradise planning island."

Nayeon knew the kind of mood Jeongyeon was in. She only ever wanted to have Animal Crossing dates in the restaurant when she was down about having to hide their relationship. "Sounds good to me, I like talking to Cube when he's working." Jeongyeon nodded, grateful Nayeon knew how she was feeling. Nayeon adjusted so she was leaning into Jeongyeon, nestled into her side. They arrived at the paradise planning island, both of their avatars dressed up for the date. They walked together into the restaurant and sat down at a table in the corner, cushions on either side.

"This is nice." Nayeon smiled and leaned over to kiss Jeongyeon on the cheek. "I love you." Jeongyeon's smile made Nayeon's heart race. "I love you too, baby." They sat and pulled out some in-game food. "I hope we can go on a date like this soon. I want everyone to know how much I love you." Nayeon's words made Jeongyeon feel butterflies. "I want that too. Especially so all those guys at award shows stop hitting on you." Nayeon laughed. "You know they have nothing on you, Jeong." And she did know, Nayeon never let her forget how much she loved her. Even when it felt like she wasn't enough, Nayeon always reminded her with silent hugs or heartfelt words how much she meant to her.

"You know what?" Jeongyeon hummed, she was in the middle of designing a room sketch. "Why don't we have a date? In a restaurant. In public." Jeongyeon looked at her like she had three heads. "Nayeon, sweetie, I don't know how to say this without being mean..." Nayeon swatted at her arm and Jeongyeon laughed. "We're in LA, there has to be a place we can go that's away from prying eyes. How else would celebrities here go on dates?" She was on to something, that's for sure. "Hmm, you know that's a pretty good idea." They were both getting excited at the prospect of a real date. "Who could we talk to without getting caught?" Nayeon knew who to ask right away. "Rosé and I are like best friends and she practically lives here with how much she visits." She pulled out her phone and sent Rosé a quick message.

-time-sensitive question, no time for chit-chat.
- do u know a good place to have a secret date in LA?

-pfft, easy. i know like seven
-i'll send you the addresses
-tell jeongyeon i say hi!

-thank you, this means a lot to us
-expect cookies at your door promptly <3

"Score! She knows a few places. Also, she says hi." Jeongyeon was beaming. "That's great! Oh, I'm so excited." Nayeon found a bakery that delivered near Rosé and sent her some cookies as she promised. "Alright, this place looks nice. It's a café and it has food we like. Ooo, it looks so cozy!" Nayeon showed Joengyeon and she agreed that it was nice. "Should I make a reservation for tomorrow? We're here for two more days." She looked up to see Jeongyeon staring at her with a sleepy smile on her face. "Whatever you want, Nay. I'm just happy we can go on a real date." Nayeon smiled softly and pecked Joengyeon's lips. "You're so cute, baby. I'll make the reservation, but we need to sleep soon. I know you're tired." Jeongyeon pouted but didn't protest.

"Aaaand done! Reservation made. They make it really easy online." She looked over to see Joengyeon barely awake. She put her phone up, turned off the light, and settled into bed. Her partner clung to her immediately and sighed. "Goodnight, Jeong." She heard a mumbled 'goodnight' and drifted off with a smile and dreams of the woman in her arms.
