Twenty Four

The process of getting through security at the airport was a long one, but you had finally made it out with all your luggage. Carti had already set up everything for the trip. There was a driver, and even a bodyguard waiting for you both upon your arrival. Once you all piled into the blacked out Range Rover, the driver pulled off and began driving you to your unknown destination. On the way there you looked at the scenery. The sun was shining bright as ever, and the trees looked like they could touch the sky. There were barely any clouds, and the sun rays were warm and comforting against your skin. As you neared your destination, you got a glimpse of the clear Caribbean Sea. Since the water was crystal clear, the sky reflected a perfect ombré blue throughout the ocean. Even the sand was a perfect tan color.

"I have another problem." You say turning to Carti who was also enjoying the view.

"What?" He asks turning his attention to you.

"I have no swim suit." You say pointing at the beach.

"We can get you one. Shit I ain't bring one either." He says smiling at you.

Once you all pulled up to the resort, you were greeted by the general manager.

"Hola! Welcome to Secrets the Vine resort hotel. I'm the general manager here Rick Mendez and I'm so glad you've chosen to stay with us. This way, I'll give you a quick tour before I show you to your rooms." Says a man. He wore a floral print shirt with long, straight, white pants.

After his introduction, a couple of porters come out with some luggage carts for your bags. They unload everything and follow behind all of you inside. As soon as you walk in, you were greeted with a nice smelling aroma in the air. The lobby was big and open, with several potted plants in almost every corner of the room. The granite floor was polished perfectly you could see your reflection on the floor. There were plenty of comfy looking couches and chairs scattered across the area, with coffee tables to accompany them. The place lit up a golden yellow and there was even a water wall that lit up blue.

"Here we have the front desk. You can come down or call if you need anything from towels to room service. And here we have the market cafe for all your meals. Breakfast is served from seven am to ten am. You also have a menu of all food items in your room." He says showing you all around the lobby.

After the lobby tour, he leads you all to your rooms.

"If there's anything you need, anything at all, please don't hesitate to ring me. We're all at your service here. Enjoy your stay!" He says smiling as he waves you all goodbye.

"Alright I have the room keys here. Me and Tony are in rooms 657 and 658." Kristie says sorting out the room keys. She hands one to the bodyguard and keeps hers.

"And Mr. Carter you're in room 821." She says handing Carti the room key.

"Thanks. See y'all later." He says as he grabs it from her and takes your hand leading you to the elevator.

"Don't forget we have a phone meeting in an hour with that manager!" Kristie yells from down the hall.

He waves her off as he presses the arrow going up. He guides you in first, then follows behind you. He presses the button for eight, and the elevator chimes before it's doors close.

"What about our bags?" You ask noticing you were both empty handed.

"Tony got it." He replies.
