The car ride to the unknown destination was mostly silent and rocky. At this point, your injured foot started to hurt just a little bit from the uncomfortable position you put yourself in. Your legs were pulled up to your chest as you lay in a cradle position. You tried to ball yourself up as much as possible to avoid any loose limbs giving you away. But of course, you got uncomfortable. You desperately wanted to stretch your legs and hoped somebody in the car would talk about an estimated time of arrival. All you knew was the car ride was three hours long to get to the plane. It felt like 6 hours already to you. Suddenly your prayers were answered when you heard a phone ring. It was Carti's.

"Yeah hello? Nah we en route. Bout another forty minutes. Aight bet." He says into the phone.

You hear the triple sound indicating he hung up. So you had forty minutes until you reached the destination. In other words, you had forty minutes to think of a plan and explain your way out of this. You were starting to realize just how bad this was getting.

"Aye boss we still making that stop for armor?" You hear a voice from the front seat ask. It was Tony.

"Oh shit yeah. Tell em we coming now. How much trunk space we got? We gon need back ups on back ups." Carti replies.

You gulped in fear after hearing their conversation. They were obviously going to open the trunk sooner or later. You weighed your options. It was either expose yourself now, or wait for them to expose you. Your stomach dropped at the feeling of having to explain yourself to Carti. You knew he'd be mad for several reasons. Before you could finalize your decision, suddenly the car went over the biggest bump you've encountered since being in the trunk. It jolted you up in the air for about two seconds and you fell back to the floor of the trunk with a thud.

"Ah shit!" You said out loud feeling the pain from being thrown in the air.

"What the fuck was that?!" Tony said whipping around in his seat.

The driver heard you as well and immediately brought the car to a stop. As if the rocky bump wasn't enough, the force of the car stopping abruptly threw you around even more. All doors opened, and the trunk was opening. As you look up your met with two pistols in your face and a stunned driver. Tony and Carti were locked and loaded. You were staring down two barrels as you slowly rise with your hands up.

"Y/N?!" They said in unison.

"Heeyy..." You said embarrassed.

Carti and Tony quickly put their guns down and Tony helped you out of the trunk. Carti was already walking away in anger. He paced around the car about five times before returning to face you.

"The fuck are you thinking girl!?" He shouts angrily in your face.

"I-I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry I know this is bad! I swear I was gonna show myself but I just...I don't know! I was worried! I had to make sure-"

"Make sure what?! What the fuck could your useless ass possibly do to help me?!" He yelled cutting you off.

Tony and the driver read the room and got back in the car.

As much as his reaction and words hurt you, you couldn't help but see the truth in them. You were unaware of the situation, and injured to top it off. Also, you still had no shoes on. You really were useless and a tad bit pitiful.

"Jordan I'm really sorry. I don't know what I was thinking." You say in defeat looking down at your bare feet.

"Yeah. You really are fucking sorry." He replies annoyed. He turns away and gets in the car quickly, slamming the car door shut.

You hold back your tears as you stand there defeated. You looked around and took in your surroundings. Everything looked bright and dry. It was definitely somewhere in the desert. You look up in the cloudless sky, and let the sun burn your face up. It seemed to dry your watery tear filled eyes.

"Aye get in the fucking car." You hear Carti say to you.

You take your eyes out of the sky and see him poking his head out the window. You scurry to the other side of car and quickly get in. The silence of the tension was killing you.

"What are we doing here boss?" Tony says referring to you being in the picture now.

"We aint got a choice. We gotta keep going." Carti replies annoyed.

You were kind of happy that he had no choice but to let you stay. You really just wanted to make sure he would be okay, but at what cost? You started to let your mind wonder to all the possibilities of what could go wrong on the trip. What if Carti gets robbed? What if you get him hurt? What if Tony gets shot? Your mind made up all kinds of scenarios. But you ignored them and decided to try and relax. Though it seemed impossible.
