The other ode I had to write for an English Class Assignment. This ode is related to the play Antigone

Love, why does your control
Often lead to
Death?
You kill so many
And for what?
Happiness? Joy? The rush?
You kill the young girl,
Who loved her brother,
Destined for motherhood.
You kill the young man,
In love with the girl,
Only soon to become king.
You kill them.
Kill them.
But you haven't stopped there,
Oh no!
You end with the mother,
Queen of the land,
Forced to take her life fore her son.
And why?
Yes.
You love.
You killed them all,
This was not suicide.
It was:
Murder.
You a murderer,
Nay a psychopath,
Planning every move.
You never get caught.
And you always win.
You kill with a sword and a dagger, yes.
But how, I ask you, can you take the the beautiful veil, so thin and pure.
Meant to make the young girl feel like magic,
And kill.
Now the veil feels as cold as
The poor white body that hangs from it.
And why do you do this?
Because Love, you are cunning and smart.
This is why,
I bow to you.
