There once was a baby,
so fragile and small.
And a mom and a dad
with no money at all.
It was the turn of the century,
in old Mexico
when the scorpion came
to Coyotito.
They looked for money,
money in pearls.
And hoped for a big one
to land in their world.
And so one did,
a great pearl indeed.
But the pearl played dark music
from the vast sea.
Coyotito was cured,
and the family had wealth,
enough for a life,
full of great health.
But people are evil,
and made the family run,
from robbers and killers.
The pearl's darkness begun.
And one cold night,
a great sadness came.
Mom and Dad's lives
would never be the same.
The pearl to the ocean,
only then could they mend.
For only then,
the pearl's music would end.
