The sinking feeling of existence,
Falling deep into the pit of sadness and regret.
Oh, how can I believe in beautiful wonders
When I see only darkness ahead.
In a world where violence thrives,
Through media's lens and human lives.
Surrounded we are, by it's dark embrace.
Seeking solace, longing for a gentler space.
Yes, there is hate in the world,
But perhaps there is much joy.
The joy of new birth,
The birth of a child or the realization of life.
The breath of life fuels all creatures.
Nature's power, multiplied by a billion,
Gives us this incredible gift.
Yes, sometimes the dark is too difficult to bear,
But the bright pushes us forward.
Feel the warmth of our mother's lasting embrace.
Praised be.
