Ch 4 - Battle Quakes

"WHAT?!" Jasmine screamed as they felt the ground shake slightly. Some people looked around and they started to murmur

Jasmine, George, and Tina ran back out as people screamed their heads off. They could see from a distance the twin brothers fighting

"We must get them out of here!" Tina said as George mentioned his plan. "If they managed to pin Clay down last time, I bet it will help with his brother!" Jasmine smiled

The 3 ran towards their home as they felt the ground shake again. George looked out, seeing Clay on top of Cole as he grabbed him by the head and pinned him down

It wasn't for long, because Cole managed to twist himself and grab Clay's neck as he squeezed it tight, making the other blonde loose his grip

"CLAY, NO!" George screamed, knowing it was a mistake. Cole looked at him and smiled as Clay took this as his chance

He pushed Cole away as Clay stood up to his full height, gasping for air as he growls and tackles Cole, both falling into the giant lake

"Hurry!" Tina calls as Jasmine turns on the car. It made both giants look at them as they entered the car and Jasmine stepped on the pedal, driving as fast as she could

"I see you're letting them escape," Cole says as he slams Clay down, making him weak as Cole stands up to follow the car

"MOM! HE'S AFTER US!!" Tina screams, but George knows a giant can reach them even by walking, and maybe Cole was doing on purpose

"No need to run, little ones. I just want to congratulate as part of the family," Cole says as George feels shivers down his spine

A thump made them jump as Tina and George looked to see Clay on his brother. "YOU WILL NOT GET THEM!" he growls as Cole scoffs and reaches Clay's hood, clawing his back

He took him off and smashed him down onto the concrete road. George felt tears trickle down, for he couldn't do anything

Clay tasted blood on his lips and felt blood streaming out of his nose. He watches Cole walk towards the car, and that clicked his brain

They're trying to recreate the scene he first experienced. He stood up and limped towards where he heard the sirens

He waves his arms as he caught their attention. They had net guns and Clay limped away as they followed, Clay following his brother, and the military following him

George felt the car stop as his mother stepped out. "OUT! OUT!" she yells as they run towards the police station, but Cole walked in front of them

"Where are you going?" he asks innocently as he kneels down in front of them and the police station, keeping them away

"I'm not going to hurt you," he says softly as Tina and Jasmine tremble at looking at his dark emerald eyes

George, on the other hand, walked slowly towards him. "GEORGE, NO!" Jasmine says as George continues to walk slowly

"I won't harm you," Cole says softly, making George shiver, due to the fact it sounded nearly identical to Clay's sweet voice

Cole was slowly stretching his arm out as George stopped. He wanted to turn and run, but he was here

Cole caresses George's face and hair softly, making the brunette whimper. "It's ok," Cole says it softly again, making George want to cry

"COLE!" Cole looks to see Clay standing. Blood was all over his face as he panted. "Clay," George whispers as he turned, but Cole swiftly grabbed him as George yelped

"I'll kill him if you don't stay back!" Cole says as George was trying to squirm out of the fist, but it was useless

Clay heard a net coming and ducked down. Cole's eyes widened as the net caught around him. He let go of George as the human screamed

Clay dove for George as he caught him, placing him close to his chest as more nets were shot, making Clay swerve away

He scooped up Tina and Jasmine and ran away as Cole was now on the ground, growling and fighting to get the nets and ropes off

Clay ran back to where George's home is, and good thing his treehouse and house is still in good shape

"Hold on," he says and holds the family close. He opens a portal and hears someone coming. He turns, but sighs in relief at seeing his young sister running

"Wait for me Clay!" she says as she jumps in first. Clay jumps in and closes the portal. Both made it back home as they were breathing hard

Clay placed the human family in his room as he lied down on his bed. "Care to explain, Clay?!" Tina growls as Jasmine covers her mouth

"Tina! Now's not the time," Jasmine scolds her, but Clay just breaths in and looks at them, "I have a twin brother and I barely found out today."

George nods as he sits down. Jasmine and Tina sit down as well as Clay used his arms to cover his eyes, "You're all in danger."

That made them whimper with worry as Drista kneels in front of them, "We'll keep you safe. The military has him, but based on what we saw, I doubt they'll be able to imprison him."
