Chapter 10

Poor Itto. He got his fun with you and you all went for Ayato, oh well. With Ayato's design already out, my primo number is increasing by the day. Alright, here you go guys. Enjoy!

You wake up to find the Oni man gone. You look around with a yawn. I thought he "wasn't gonna leave my side." So much for that...you think. You get up and get ready for the day. You were hoping to find Ayaka and ask her if she had any spare kimonos. Ayaka usually hung out in her room in the morning. She usually takes a bath every morning then does other things you weren't too sure of. It's not your business to get into. One, two, three, four, five knocks on her door.

"You may enter." Ayaka says, calmly. You slowly walk in. "Ah, Y/n. I was just going to wake you. How was your sleep?" she asks.

"It was nice. By the way, where did Itto go?" you ask her.

"Thoma said they had some 'unfinished business.' I really hope they are okay." she says. Then you remember that Itto and Thoma almost fought yesterday.

"Wait! Lady Ayaka, are they gonna fight??" you ask, worried.

"You can just call me Ayaka, and I didn't think about that. We should go check just in case!" she says, preparing her stuff, including her blade. You nod and run to your room, taking out your own weapon. You follow her outside to run into Ayato.

"Oh, my apologies, Lord Ayato." you apologize.

"No need to be formal. Where are you two headed?" Ayato asks.

"We were going to check on Itto and Thoma. We think they're fighting..." you say. Ayato nods and lets you guys go. The smirk on his face when you passed by made you shudder. You don't know why, but you shrugged it off anyway. You and Ayaka run off, looking for wherever they may be.

~Small Timeskip~

The two of you went to Chinju Forest, figuring it was a good area to check. To your luck, they weren't there. You both decide to check elsewhere before you were secretly grabbed and dragged to the side, away from Ayaka. You feel the bark of a tree on your back, glancing up slowly. The light made it easy to show his features. He looked dazzling right now and you had no words. He whispers to himself, "I am terribly sorry, sister." He was referring to Ayaka. He slowly leans down to your ear, his hot breath on your neck. It drove you crazy but you wouldn't admit that out loud. "Mmm, you know..." he lifts his head. "You do a terrible job at hiding your tracks. Although, it's not necessarily a terrible thing. The easier I can find you, the better."

"D-did I do something wrong?" you ask him. He doesn't respond. Instead, he leans down and nibbles at your neck. You bite your lip and look away from him. You didn't need him to know what wonders he was doing to you.

"I suppose you can say that." he finally answers.

"What did I do...?"

A low growl comes from him, "Let's just say, you've been hanging around other people for too long. When do I get my fun?" He asks. You stay quiet. You didn't put it like that.

"I'm terribly sorry for not giving you my attention." you tell him. There it is, that growl again.

"Let's go back, shall we? I have something to show you." he says. You nod and he lets go.

"What about Ayaka? Will she be okay??" you ask.

"She'll be fine. Thoma would never hurt her. As for Itto, I don't believe he would. He has high respect for women." Ayato tells you. He picks you up and carries you in his arms. You were about to say something when he puts a finger on your lips. "Shhhh. No need to worry." He silently carries you back to the Kamisato estate. Once you get back, instead of dropping you onto the couch, he continues walking.

"Where are we go-" you were cut off when he closes his bedroom door. "O-oh." was all you could say. He chuckles and places you down on his bed. "What-" he interrupts you with a kiss. He moans into the kiss. You blush and push him away. "Woah, woah, woah. Calm down. Is there something you gotta tell me?"

"There is. I'm terribly in love with you. I want you all to myself. If I see anyone touch you again, I can't guarantee that they'll be able to breathe any longer." he admits. You process what he said, blush slowly appearing on your face.

"If you love me, then give me some time please." He seemed to be processing what you said. Love wasn't something he was familiar with, so this would be different for him. He nods and gets off of you.

"I apologize..." he says.

"No need." you say. "Just be a little more cautious, okay?" He nods again. "Wanna just hang out here until they get back?"

"I would like that." he says, sitting down on the bed. The rest of the time you two spent waiting, you told each other some embarrassing stories to kill some time. He told you about one time he and Ayaka snuck out of the house when they were younger and played hide and seek in the dark. You wished you could do that with someone. Plus, you didn't expect him to get so personal with you, especially because he just met you a couple days ago, but you weren't complaining. Not at all...
