An hour of sleep recharged the young star like a bolt of lightning, Adriana was radiant once again, her eyes shine and mind sharp, working with her dancers like a professional.

Under broad daylight, the stadium was closed to the public, allowing technicians to setup stage equipments. The young artist and her dancers were in plain clothes, running through the song list from a mobile phone, playing it through a portable speaker.

"This is so weird." Kendall watching them rehearsing on stage. "It's like watching a concert, but in our backyard."

"Imagined people saw us in competition, then come watch us in the studio." Chloe smiled.

"But that's different! These people don't get yell at!"

"Would you prefer to go back to Candy Apples? Kathy may still want you."

"Please! Don't EVER bring that up!"

It was embarrassing enough that Jill was caught sending Kendall to Abby's adversary, Kendall has to bear the name "Studio Hopper" season after season.

"Chloe! Kendall!" Adriana was with her towel and drink, taking a break from the numbers. "Do you wanna come up here and try some moves?"

"No.","Yes!" the two gave different answers.

"Come on! Don't be shy, I may get you a spot for tomorrow!"

Before Chloe could respond, Kendall already climbed onto stage. Her eyes swept around, gasping the view from a professional level.

"I'm not dressed." Chloe shook her head.

"Who cares? Just come on up and see the view!" Kendall yelled in excitement.

Chloe climbed onto stage, turned and looked out the stadium, it was breathtaking. No competition she went to come close to the magnificent scale.

Adriana played a new song from her phone, the three of them began dancing with the beat. The young artist picked up her mic and started singing her song. It felt so unreal to the girls, to be dancing with a star, not performing, but like three friends having a good time.

A sound caught Chloe, a stringing high pitch that echoes, like a wire reaching its tension. Acting on instinct she launched into Kendall, who fell upon Adriana, knocking them off the stage and landed on the hard ground.

"Ouch!! What was that all about??" Kendall grunting in pain, she has hurt her elbow.

"Yeah! What was that!" Adriana complained.

Chloe looked around, everyone was staring at them, stunned that she has just pushed the young artist off the stage.

"I'm... I'm so sorry!" she got back to her feet, was about to help her friends up. "I think I over reacted..."

Her words were cut short by screams.

"LOOK OUT!! LOOK OUT!!"

Before she figured out what was happening, a shadow casted over them. Chloe looked back and saw the three-story high giant backdrop coming towards them.

No time to get them off their feet, Chloe dived over Adriana, using herself as a mattress, in hope to reduce the injury for her protectee.

The giant backdrop slammed heavily on the stage floor, flattening everything under it. Chloe, Kendall and Adriana, saved by the three foot high stage, narrowly escaped death by the room from ground up.

"Please tell me you didn't do that too?" Sergeant Kelly looking at the near-disaster. Chloe shook.

"You probably just got yourself blacklisted by every insurance company in town." Chloe nodded.

"Hey Officer! Why are you harassing my friend?" the young star stormed in. "She saved my life! More than twice. She's not the criminal here!"

"Ma'am. I suggest you calm down..."

"Oh Don't tell me to calm down! I'm running a show here! Do you know who I am??"

Adriana's verbal assault did not move the policewoman, Sergeant Kelly simply cocked her head at Chloe.

"It's okay, Adriana." Chloe put a stop to the young star. "We go way back."

"Who go way back?"

"This little girl has been kicking asses since she was eleven. I knew her when she was this small." the Sergeant measured a height with her hand.

"Thirteen." Chloe corrected.

"Eleven. D'you think I didn't know about that shoot-out at the warehouse? And that helicopter stunt you pulled in Moscow?"

"Morris told you that too?" Chloe felt her entire life put on display.

Silencing the young star, Kelly continued.

"So, have you concluded anything out of these unusually frequent coincidences?"

"I think I may have." Chloe turned to Don not far away.

Don gave a list of potential threats, among them was one record giant, known in the business for their ruthlessness, rumors that they were supported by the mob.

"The mob?" Kelly arched her eyebrows at Chloe. "Have you ever considered downsizing your targets? Like maybe thieves or robbers? Not Russian mafia or Columbian cartel?"

"I didn't get to pick." Chloe defended quietly.

"Anyway." Kelly fetched the list from Don's hand. "We'll check it out. I'm sure the police department has better channels on tracking crimes."

"Thank you again, Sergeant Kelly." Chloe said. "And sorry for troubling you... again."

The police drove off, leaving Adriana and the Dons speechless, staring at Chloe with a whole new perspective.
