Emergency sirens and alarms resonate the hallways and sections of a laboratory situated in Gwacheon military base.
"Emergency Alert! One of the Vampire test subjects is escaping from the laboratory! I repeat! One of the Vampire test subjects is escaping from the laboratory!!" A voice speaks through speakers.
In an attempt to escape from the laboratory, a female vampire runs through hallways, thinking she will finally succeed this time but as soon as she turns left from the corner of the hallway, her hopes dashed.
She halts on her spot as she is welcomed by a man with brunette hair, aiming his gun in her direction.
"It's been a while since I came across a vampire." He grins.
"Filthy human, get out of my fucking way or get ready to be killed." She grits out, disgust for the humans reflecting from her face.
"Cadet Jeon! You're still prohibited from dealing with a vampire." Another armed man arrives there, "I'll tackle her. You can leave now."
"Sorry, what? I think I didn't hear you correctly." Jungkook retorts before pulling the trigger and shooting the bullet straight into the vampire's forehead.
He then looks over his shoulder to see his supervisor before giving him an innocent look.
His Supervisor sighs as he massage his temples.

"UGH! It sucks!!"
"They should be grateful towards me for killing a bloodsucker." Jungkook nags as he tries to move, "But here I am being punished."
It's evening time and he's at the training ground, all alone with His body buried in the ground, except his head.
Yup, that's his punishment, being vertically buried in the ground for four hours straight.
"Colonel Kim, you traitor. Did you already forget your promise?" Jungkook mutters as he stops his futile movements.
[Flashback]
"Seems like I've found a human."
Jungkook opened his eyes and saw a man towering over him. Thanks to moonlight he was able to see him.
The man in front of him have broad shoulders and dark brown hair. He was wearing a black uniform dress with a black peaked cap and white gloves. Ash grey epaulettes decorated both his shoulders with a small Demon face attached to his left chest. A sword scabbard along with a handgun tied around his waist.
"Who are you?" Jungkook asked as he wiped his tears before hastily standing up.
"Ah yeah! Let me introduce myself to you." The man said as he dusted his uniform, "I'm Colonel Kim Seok-Jin from The Demon Army. I was returning to my base when I saw you. So I stopped by to check up on you."
"Are you a human?" Jungkook asked, narrowing his eyes, "No... you can't be... you look older than me but you don't seem like a vampire either."
"One hundred per cent, I'm a human." Jin responded without hesitation, "There's no doubt about it."
"But how's that possible?" Jungkook's forehead creased, "The vampires said every human above the age of 17 is dead because of the virus."
"That's what vampires told you." Jin responded as he placed his hands on his hips, " But the truth is.... about 80% of the total human population is wiped out because of the virus. And the remaining 20% of the population is either saved by the Demon army or taken as hostages by the vampires."
Jungkook lowered his head and closed his eyes. The scene where his friends were killed, cold-blooded by a vampire in front of him repeated itself.
"Kid...." Jin called and Jungkook opened his eyes, "How would you like to come with me and get back at those leeches? Tell me, do you want to slaughter those vampires?"
"I do." Jungkook replied as he stared at Shi-Eon's blood on his hand.
"If you want your revenge then take my hand." Jin said as he offered his hand, "I'll give you all the power you need."
[End of flashback]
"More like I'll take my hand and ignore you afterwards." Jungkook mocks him.
"You know why you're being punished, right?" A voice interrupts.
Jungkook lifts his head only to see a young lady wearing a black uniform similar to Jin's, walking towards him.
"You're being punished not for killing a vampire but for not following the orders." She informs
"I know." Jungkook says. He have that annoyed face on as he watches her stand in front of him, "By the way, Who are you?"
"I'm your new Supervisor, Ahn Sora."
