[SHI-EON'S POV]
As I entered the dining hall along Felix and Mi-Cha, My sight was welcomed by a humongous crystalline table with a ceramic vase placed on it. A waterfall chandelier adorning the middle of the ceiling with the mini chandeliers hanging around the corners of the huge room.
Ten out of the eleven noble vampires gathered tonight, from all around the world. Even the one I was expecting the least to encounter was already here.
The 1st noblevamp.
"Took you three long enough to arrive." Vernon said.
"Well, we still made it on time." Mi-Cha responded.
"I heard you completed your mission with ease again, Shi-Eon." Vernon said, smilingly as he shifted his gaze on me, "You are improving rapidly, Shi-Eon. At this rate, it won't be far when you'll take over Felix's rank."
"As If I'll be watching that happening silently." Felix, the 4th noble snapped back. It was when another figure approached Vernon.
"Lord Vernon, I heard you already defeated the Demon army of Hanoi." Seraphina, the 7th noble chimed, "That's impressive."
"Do you expect any less from him, Sera?" Seraphina's closest comrade, the 3rd noble Rhys butted in, circling an arm around Vernon's shoulder.
On the other hand, two nobles were having a conversation among themselves. One of them was Yeosang, The 9th noble. And the other one talking to him........ It's my first time seeing him here.
From the other side of the room, The 2nd noble Itoshi Ken silently observed Vernon. Beside him stood the 8th noble, Mingxia. Judging from their expression, one can't tell what was going through their mind but knowing their personalities so far, I can tell they were not pleasant to see Vernon.
On our way here, Felix informed us that during Itoshi's latest mission of attacking Shibuya, the 2nd noble vamp was utterly defeated by a Demon army officer. Even though he had the support of his comrade Mingxia, he still returned bare-handed.
To think that officer defeated Itoshi Ken, he has to be a top tier. What was his name again? Oh I remember! Min Yoongi.
Our precious superior, Lord Itoshi Ken, who never tasted defeat, was now brought to his knees and on top of that, his rival Vernon was victorious again...... must be humiliating for him.
