Never again (Tom Riddle x reader)

Chapter 12

Recap: I watched as the orphanage's door closed behind him, I waved at him the last time and sighed as I looked at the building, the curiosity got the best of me and I looked at Riddle's window, but the curtains were closed, no surprise, I thought as I face the street and called for a taxi.

Tom's pov:

Today was the first day of summer holidays and I have decided to collect all of my belongings from the orphanage, and never go back to that dreadful place.

I received a letter this morning, Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy wrote to me, reminding me that I'm staying with them this summer.

I spent last night in the orphanage to get the rest of my belongings, considering that I'm about to turn 16, that means I can legally leave the orphanage, move on with my plans in the wizarding world and never come back.

I closed my trunk with all of my belongings in it, kind of pathetic, fitting my whole life in a trunk, I thought to myself.

I walked up to my room's window to close the colourless drapes in front of it, I stopped what I was doing when I saw something moving in the mirror, it was a girl my age, she wore a bright red raincoat, she looked awfully familiar, my eyebrows furrowed is I thought about, where I have seen her before, but just rolled my eyes and harshly closed the drapes, it was the Y/n girl.

Before I left the room with the heavy trunk in my arms, I looked around to make sure I didn't leave anything I would have to come back later for, the last thing I took was Nagini's cage and with that I left the horrid room, I closed the door behind myself 'I won't miss this place.' Nagini hissed to me, I turned to look at her and nodded, 'Yeah, me neither.' I hissed back, I went to the stairs, but there was the young woman I saw earlier, in my way.

I went up to her, ''Umm, miss, you're in my way.'' I said in a more irritated voice than I originally planned, her head shot up at the sound of my voice, ''Oh, excuse me, I'll-'' she said in a way too gentle voice until she stopped talking when her eyes met mine, ''Oh.'' She breathed and looked away, she straightened her back and walked away.

I just rolled my eyes and continued walking to my destination, 'I remember her.' Nagini hissed while I carried her down the stairs, ''Mmhmm.'' I hummed. I rolled my eyes when I saw the one and only Billy Stubbs, I wanted to do nothing more than just bash his head in a wall, but I contained my urge, ''Where are you going, freak?'' he asked as his 'friends' laughed behind him, I just rolled my eyes, 'if only he knew.' I thought as I rolled my eyes and went to the wardrobe to get my coat, I put it on and went to Mrs. Cole's office to sign out of this place.

I gently knocked on her office door and went inside, ''Riddle, here are your documents, just sign them and you're free to leave.'' She said as she gave me a little stack of papers, I signed them and gave them to her, ''This one is for you to keep.'' She said and gave one to me, I nodded and left her office, I took all of my stuff and finally left the hellhole, I went to the Diagon alley, Abraxas Malfoy was already waiting for me by 'Borgin and Burkes' ''Take my trunk, I'll carry Nagini myself.'' I said in a monotone voice, as I pushed the trunk to his side, ''Yes Lord.'' Malfoy replied and took my trunk, we went in to 'Bergin and Burkes' and evaporated to the Malfoy manor.

''Welcome Mr. Riddle, hopefully you will enjoy staying here for the summer.'' Mrs. Malfoy said with a wide smile on her face, I smiled back, ''Thank you, for letting me stay here.'' I thanked Abraxas's parents and looked around the manor, it looked dark, because of the dim lighting, there were a lot of green and silver elements, it looked very slytherin-ish, a house elf came up to me and took my trunk somewhere, ''Take it to the North-wing's bedroom please.'' Mr. Malfoy said to the elf, ''Yes master.'' It replied and left the manor's lobby, ''I'll go and prepare the dinner.'' Mrs. Malfoy said and scurried away, so did Abraxas's father before me and Abraxas went to the library to play chess.

''You losing is getting boring.'' I said as I put my fist under my chin to hold my head, this was the fifth round and Malfoy lost all of them, I stood up and slowly walked to Nagini's cage that was on an emerald green arm chair in the corner of the room.

I opened her cage and let her slither around my arm, ''Where are all of the dark art books?'' I asked as walked around the room, ''All of them are in my father's study.'' He replied, her was still looking at the finished game in front of him, I just hummed at his response.

''Masters, the dinner is ready.'' The house elf said bowing after he opened the library's door, ''We'll be there in a moment.'' Abraxas replied as he stood up, I put Nagini back in the cage. I followed Abraxas to the dining room, where his mother and father were already waiting for us, ''Sorry for keeping you waiting, Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy.'' I said as I sat down by the table. ''No worries, we started just a moment ago.'' Mrs. Malfoy replied as she softly smiled, Abraxas was more similar to his father than mother, his mother was pure and smart as for his father, he is impulsive and acts on his emotions, not very smart if I say so myself. Abraxas is an idiot who thinks he's in control, he doesn't look farther than the tip of his nose, not because he didn't care, he's just not smart enough, for instance, he doesn't know that I'm using him, and if he ever realises, he'll try to gain power he never had and I'll kill him, ''So boys, what are you up to for the summer?'' Mrs. Malfoy asked as she looked at Abraxas and then at me.
