Sorry for the extremely short update before. I'll try and make up for it now.

Thanks buckxlover and SURPRISE BIH.

Sam adjusted, then readjusted his tie as he looked at the mirror. The tie was never unmade to begin with, but his nervous hands were vigorously grappling for something to fix. Since he couldn't fix his scrambled thoughts.
If he gave his decision a second thought again, he quite did believe that regardless of what grounds he and Bucky were on, it did, in fact, sound like a date.

Well it isn't, he chastised himself, subconsciously fixing his tie a fourth time. The tie was more than fixed now, if anything, the tie could probably already make it to "top ten most pristine made ties" list.

And yet again, after another internal debate, Sam's hands nudged his tie.
If it wasn't for the hasty knock on the door and the muffled voice of Bucky Barnes, the tie surely would've burned by Sam's touch, yet once again.

"For God's sake Sam! Are you applying makeup or something?" His voice was agitated, but if Sam concentrated enough (which he always does when it's Bucky), he could catch a hint of curiosity.
"Yes!" He deadpanned before swiftly moving away from the mirror and towards the gate.
In one rapid move, the door clicked open and Sam came face to face with James Buchanan Barnes.

Mistake: 1

Bucky was wearing a cream colored jumper, which happened once ever never. The jumper covered his Vibranium arm subtly but his fingers and palm were still visible, something which Sam didn't mind but subconsciously made a mental note to keep it out of public eye, for Bucky's sake only.
A copper brown scarf was draped across his neck and hanging over his chest. Skinny jeans which were partially torn by his knee covered his legs.

That wasn't the worst (best) part. Sam managed a look at his face and once again was struck by abnormal...hottness. Bucky was wearing eyeliner. Bucky was wearing eyeliner. His hair were swept to one side and he was wearing a goddamned eyeliner.

Sam mentally fixed his tie several more times, gulping subconsciously and fidgeting with the cuffs of his long coat. He was hyperaware of the fact that his face was heating up at the mere sight of Bucky Barnes like that.

"Breathe Sam," Bucky mocked and laughed nervously, hands moving to the back of his neck.
'He's nervous,' Sam noted, then a more sensible part of him spoke, 'well of course he's bloody nervous, you've been staring at him for god knows how long!"

Sam cleared his throat and darted his eye around the room, "uh Buck...you-" He managed to make eye contact again, "You look...." Sam whacked his head for any proper word since 'hot' would be too straightforward.
"Different?" Bucky lamely offered, smiling nervously.
"Well, yes....but in a good way!" Sam hastily added.
Bucky did look different, but, damn, if that's what 'different' looks like then he can settle for different each day.
"You know what," Sam finally found some proper words, "You should wear this more. It's clearly better than those dark clothes you wear - not that it matters much. Wear whatever you find yourself comfortable in," Sam rambled.
It happened often, when Sam was extremely nervous...or flustered. In this case, both.

It seems it was the same case for Bucky, since his face instantly turned a gorgeous shade of scarlet as soon as Sam started rambling.
God, if Bucky was glowing before, he was beaming now. The eyeliner was standing out distinctly before due to the light clothes, now it was radiating off glow in Bucky's flustered face.
