After getting driven home by Charlie Lyric went up to Their room the recharge a bit and process the day, finally taking Their headphones off Their head and playing a song softly out lout not wanting to disturb Charlie, They thought about Art class and how Alice genuinely wanted to talk to them, while most people at the school wanted to converse with lyric it was just because They were the 'shiny new toy' as Shakespeare 2.0 (Jessica) put it, Alice didn't dig for secrets for gossip just asking normal (or at least what lyrics warped perception on social interactions hoped was normal) conversation started without the intent of finding information to gossip about.
Lyric though of Alice's eyes They had never seen that couple before but maybe it was a Heath condition like a genetic mutation or a vitamin deficiency, they ultimately decided not to ask in case it was personal or maybe they were just wearing contacts? Lyric had
tried them before and that didn't sound realistic to wear them all day every day. In Lyric's experience they got uncomfortable to wear after an hour or two and it would be expensive to buy that many colored ones. Also the fact that the other siblings had those eyes too.It seemed unrealistic to Lyric that siblings could be so close to each other to routinely put in contacts so they'd all match then again lyric isn't the best at how siblings work despite having 6 brothers all of them had moved out by the time they're parents were deemed unable to take care of kids and Lyric never particularly bonded with any of them they had good memories of some and bad memories of the others though mostly they didn't have an opinion on any of them Lyric only ever lived with two of their brothers the other four had moved out before they were born.
Sighing Lyric shook the thoughts away they didn't want to think too hard about Alice when she was probably just trying to be polite or make conversation so it wasn't an awkward class.
Turning off their music then getting into PJ's that consisted of a baggy pair of fake silk boxers (Lyric couldn't stand the cotton ones they were too itchy) and a loose T-shirt they put fuzzy socks on and put their headphones on charge and got under the covers closing their eyes to try and drift off'
'Fuck me dead I forgot to put my phone on charge'
'What subjects do I have tomorrow, do I need my PE uniform is it clean'
'Legend has it that the moss grows on the north side of the trees legend has it that the I can't remember the words oh no'
'What time is it is it to early to sleep?'
'Has Charlie gone to bed yet? What if I've been disturbing him with my music'
Ok so Lyric didn't drift off they had a little pent up energy and their mind was running wild so they got up put their phone on charge and got a bottle of Coke Zero (the only good kind there is fight me) they they had forgotten about out of their bag and drank what was left it was slightly flat but they were too desperate to get sleep to care.
(Fun fact some people with ADD and ADHD calm down when they consume caffeine it's wild I'm also one of those bitches)
Setting back into bed now calm and exhausted they didn't even mind the slightly scratchy pillow case or the crinkly comforter (much) and drifted off dreaming of random characters dancing to the song moss it was wild some of them were even animated while others weren't it was wild but that was something Lyric could ponder in the morning as they were already in too deep a sleep to question it . 💃 🕺💃🕺💃🕺💃🕺
