Chapter 7 [nov 8, 2019] -Serenity POV- I wake up to the sound of our Safe locks being opened. I looked around to see if Billie was in bed with me but she wasn't. I looked at my phone and saw that it was only 4:30 in the morning.
I got billies gun that she leaves under the pillow and I start to silently crawl out of Bed hoping to not hit a creek in the floor. I managed to make it by the door with the gun while the person was still trying to unlock the safe.
I heard a low "shit" and instantly knew it was Xavier. I rushed over to the light turning it on which scared Xavier. I'm even more pissed by the fact that he would steal from his own family.
"What the fuck... are you doing" I say angrily. "It's not what it looks like" Xavier said holding two stacks of cash. I look at his body posture and the way he was standing, he's hiding something.
"Why...are you stealing... from Billie" I ask sterling still holding the gun. " you wouldn't understand serenity" he said with some type of sad and angry tone. "Well I don't understand why you are stealing from us!" I say loudly.
"IF I DON'T LEAVE NOW, ILL BE KILLED. YOU WEREN'T HERE IN THE BEGINNING. YOU DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING" he screamed at me. He took a deep breathe before speaking.
"I don't want to be to here anymore. I have an entire life ahead of me, I'm only 18 serenity. I could have a family, I could have an actual job instead of hiding in this fucking shit hole. I have Berger things in life to do than slang drugs serenity... for once in my life I want to be free from this shit."
"You know... you could of just asked us instead of stealing" I say feeling sad for him. He started to laugh before his laugh turnt into anger. " NO, I COULDN'T JUST ASK. LIKE I SAID YOU WEREN'T HERE IN THE BEGINNING. IF I WERE TO ASK FOR CASH OR JUST UP AND STEAL TO RUN AWAY AND HAVE A BETTER LIFE ID BE KILLED." He started to cry.
"Just please... please let me take the cash... please" he cried on my bedroom floor. Part of me wanted to do the right thing and let him go but the other half knows I'll have to deal with what ever is coming with this.
"Okay listen..... you can only take one stack of cash... she would of get really suspicious to see two watts fucking missing. Go pack your shit... and I'll take you where every you need to go... but you need to be quick cause I don't know when she's coming back." I say sighing.
He wipes his eyes, "she usually doesn't get back til around six so I think we have time" he says getting up off the floor. He put one of he sakes on the bed before coming to me and hugging me.
We sat in that hug for a good 20 minutes before staring into each other's eyes, I felt sorry for this man. He quickly ran out of the room and I put the money back in the safe before getting dressed and running down to the car. [4:50am]

It was a couple of minutes before he came rushing to the car with six bags. He hopped in and we started to drive. "Hey you can drop me off at my parents house." He said. "Your gonna have to give me the location." I say staring at the road. He gave me his parents address before I started to drive off. As I'm driving I get a phone call from Billie. I look at Xavier and I told him to stay quiet Billie bold! "Hey babe whats up." "Where are you?" "Going to Starbucks, I'm getting to get some breakfast for the house, you need anything." It was silent for a moment. "Which Starbucks are you going to?" I looked at my phone. "Probably the one on cooper street and broadway, they lines be the shortest and plus they got some good breakfast restaurants over there.... do you need anything while I'm out?" .... "Damn that's like a 20 minute drive... but No... hey um... have you seen Xavier by any chance" I look over at Xavier
