"Oh!.. Alex.. weird to see you here" I say with a genuine surprise reaction. " hi, Serenity can I come in?" She asked. I sighed a let her in. I went to the kitchen and I went to go check on my food. In my house, the kitchen and the area of the living room is connected, it has like this island where you can see the living room while your in the kitchen.

I watched her find a comfort spot one of the couches and it was silent for a moment. " do you want some food?" I ask her looking through the fridge. "Depends on what it is" she say's loudly, almost like she was walking towards me.

I looked out the fridge and she was sitting at the island table staring at Me. " just left of jambalaya if you want it, I warmed it up on the stove" I say with an awkward smile. " yeah yeah yeah I'll take it." She said with a smile.

She looked drained. She had bags under eyes. Her hair was greasy. She looked like she was on drugs. She didn't looked like herself "I- I went to your dads funeral today. I didn't see you though"
She said.

"Oh yeah, I left early.. I didn't wanna have like a mental break down in front of the church" I say with a fake laugh handing her her plate.Truly we all knew why I left that funeral but she doesn't need to know that.

"Oh. Mhm.. I saw Billie at the funeral, or atleast I thought." She said eating her food. " what do you mean you saw Billie?" I questioned her. " i was saying I thought I saw her at the funeral but it could of been any other white lady at the funeral ren" she said.

"Anyways have you talked to her?" She asked me. I eat spoon full of my food before answering her question " no I haven't, but i will see her tomorrow"  I say taking another spoon full of my food. " I'll be seeing her tomorrow too, court?" She says. I looked at her, and I titled my head.

"What do you mean court? Are you going to the trial? Are you speaking against billie?" I asked. " I am" she replied quickly. " what the fuck? Why?"
"Just old business I have to demolish, nothing serious" she says.

"So you just came over here to basically tell me that your going against my ex? In court? For what reason?" I say putting my plate on the table.
" I have my reasons, and your still my best friend, I'm doing this for the both of us." She said.

" we are not best friends Alex. Don't say that shit. Do I have to remind of what you said I'm them school halls and how you got your ass beat? And where the fuck was you on graduation? Did you even graduate?" I say snarky.

It grew quiet then I knew, she didn't even graduate. "What the fuck were you doing inbetween the time you got to highland bro? Nothing? Partying? You do drugs? What was you doing? Sabotaging my relationship?" I taunt verbally towards her.

"Half and half. It's okay though, Im making it through life. How's your baby going?" she says complete ignoring my questions. " she's doing well actually" I say turning around to wash my dishes.

"When will I see her?" She asked. " Alex how many times do I have to tell you that we are not on good terms right now.. I don't even know why you are here" I say throwing the dishes in the sink.

" I just want to rekindle the friendship that we had.. even after this court thing. and I don't want you to be mad at me after this court thing.. please don't be mad at me after this court thing" she kept saying. I don't know what the fuck she's talking about but she started crying.

I turnt around and I still had soap studs on my hands, when she came and wrapped her arms around my waist hugging me. "Please don't be mad at me after this court thing. I really need you right now" she kept saying.

All I could do was stand. I didn't know what was happening. All of sudden the door bell ring. she released me from my grip and I wiped my hands off and went to go open the door. It was Courtney

"Bitch your not gonna believe who I just fucking saw and wh- what are you doing here" she said looking directly at Alex. " alex was just now leaving actually.. it was good seeing you Alex, see you tomorrow" I say with a slight smile.

She wiped her face and brushed passed Courtney making Courtney wobble a little bit. Courtney had a short temper because she was about to throw her show at Alex but I told her that it wasn't worth it.

" girl what the fuck did she want?" Courtney says taking her shoes off. "Girll, she came over here asking me to forgive her and that to don't be mean to her after this trial tomorrow, and I was like what the fuck are you talking about!" I sigh.

"Weirdo, anyways bitch guess who I saw" Courtney said looking shocked. "Bitch whooo" I say with excitement. " Bitch I saw Billie. Looks like she was coming from your way. I was suprise to see her but she just shot me a smile" Courtney said throwing her hands up.

I scratched my head and bite my lip and thought of what happened a couple of hours ago. " Bitch.. don't tell me.. did you- did you guys have make up sex?" Courtney said squinting her eyes. I let out a giggle and play with my fingers.

"BITCHHHHHH DONT TELL ME" Courtney said before saying "TELL ME EVERYTHING" she laughs.I ended up telling her everything, every little detail of how everything went, needless to say her mouth was on the floor. " y'all are a bunch of fucking freakksss eewwwwww" she says poking at me. " the way you describe it I just know she laid like six nuts in you, bitch you about to have to second kid" she laughs which I say woahhhh too. I love having this connection with Courtney.
