Little Nightmares EXPLAINED?

Introduction

It is finally here!!!!!! So sorry for the long wait!

Basically, I stumbled upon this series of games and watched the YouTuber Jacksepticeye play it. After watching Little Nightmares, the DLC, and Little Nightmares 2, I was quite confused about the concept of this universe. I did some small research and found amazing theories that helped make the story make more sense. I shared those theories on Jack's last episode of Little Nightmares 2 and the comment blew up. That gave me the motivation to dive fully into this Little Nightmares universe and find every clue possible to create the ultimate Little Nightmares explanation. I read and analyzed every single game and comic and did research all the way down to the game's coding. Several theories were able to be proven false while some were proven true but don't worry! There are still a lot more theories!

So to make this explanation earlier to understand, I will be doing this in chronological order (order of which things came first time-wise, not release-wise.) At the beginning of each game and comic, I will have a list of the characters and their names as well as the location everything is taking place so it is much easier to follow.

Also, I will be pointing out what is just theory by bolding the text (like this) so that you can easily see the difference between the facts and theories. On these parts where it is just theory please please please let me know what you think! I love reading all of the different possibilities and ideas you guys have.

That all being said of course this is going to be a giant spoiler as well so if you haven't seen or played any of the gameplay please do so. Just reading this right off the bat may make the game even more confusing.

But please do enjoy it and I hope by the end of it you will at least understand something.

Before we get officially started I want to inform you/remind you that the world before the signal tower came to be was actually very normal and similar to ours with regular humans living regular lives. However, there was a very big cataclysmic event that caused great cracks in the ground. Humanity was able to mostly restore their world to its original state again but before it could become perfect the signal tower appeared and began bringing chaos upon everything.
