Vers, Fury, and Y/n walk out of the elevator and as they were walking a cat walks up to them and Fury bends down and starts petting it.

Fury: Hey, there. How are you? Oh my goodness. Look at you. Just look at you. Aren't you the cutest little thing.
Y/n then gets down on a knee as well and starts petting the cat as well.
Y/n: What's your name little buddy? (looks at his name tag) Goose. Cool name for a cool cat.
Vers then looks back and sees the two petting the cat.
Vers: Fury, Y/n lets go.
Fury:( to Goose) I'll be back.
Y/n:( to Goose) Stay safe little buddy.
Vers, Fury, and Y/n are now standing next to a door labeled "records" with a fingerprint scanner.
Fury: Oh. Let me get my fingerprint out.( gets it out) Just let me unravel this puppy.
As Fury was doing that Vers shoots energy out of her fist causing the lock to disappear and the door is now unlocked.
Fury: You sat there and watched me play with tape? When all you had to do was blast it?
Vers: I didn't want to steal your thunder.
Y/n:(chuckles)
They all walk into the records room. The room was dark at first but the lights turned on row by row revealing a massive warehouse of shelves full of boxes. They walk pass a few aisles before stopping and turning into one. Vers looks at all the boxes carefully before finding the one she wants.
Vers: Huh. Lawson.
She then pulls two poxes off the shelf. She hands the first to Fury and then places the second on the floor before removing files. Y/n was helping Fury look through some of the files when Vers found something.
Vers: Ha. Lawson's plan for the light- speed engine. I wonder why they terminated the project.
Fury: Um, maybe because she's cuckoo.
Fury shows Vers a page from a notebook, covered in hieroglyphics which Vers instantly recognizes.
Vers: Kree glyphs?
Y/n: Hmm?
Vers: Lawson is not cuckoo. She's Kree.
Fury: Well, she's dead.
Vers: What?
Fury: She crashed the ASIS aircraft during an unauthorized test flight. Took a pilot down with her. That's why security here's so unfriendly. They're covering up a billion dollar mistake. Oh, and your light-speed engine is toast.
