Doug ran out of the hallway knowing Lucky and Penny might be chasing him.
Malak: Mortal, can you hear me?
Doug: Yeah. What are you doing?
Malak: If you want to escape my realms alive and get me out of my imprisonment your were gonna need me to explain how you can even begin.
Doug: Okay, so how then?
Malak: In each of my realms there are six black shards. These shards are too powerful for the ring alter to hold and will destroy it. When they are destroyed they will weaken Bierce and will give me strength to change the portal to another nightmare.
Doug: Alright.
Malak: Oh and one more thing.
Doug felt a surge of energy throughout his body.
Malak: You're gonna need all your power ups if you want to survive. She's made the monsters stronger so good luck. Oh and one more thing, here's your tablet back.
Doug pulled out his tablet to find the shards location. Two were in the area he was in so made his way there. Doug started to run over to the closest shard, but on his way he met Lucky again. Lucky looked a little different his eye's glowed purple, but that was about it. Lucky charged Doug with speed faster than even Doug's speed boost. Doug teleported behind Lucky and Lucky ran right into a shop. Doug turned with to the wreckage and chuckled.
Doug: If you were really a bunny you jump into it.
Doug than speed boost to where the shard was.
