Epiloge

Here I am, laying down on a hospital bed. Waiting to die. My name is Doug Houser. I've done some bad things in my life, but after a series of events I changed. I learned that greed and fame won't be enough to live a life of happiness and to be a much more patience man. Now its been years since the events that changed my life. My wife died a year ago, my daughter is successful and happy. She's married with two kids and makes a healthy amount of money. And I'm here, waiting for death to take me. I could feel death slowly taking me. A tear fell from my eye. I didn't want to die alone. No one knew I was dying. But thankfully Tammy and her husband Franklin walked in. When they saw I was dying they called for help.

Franklin: HELP, HE'S DYING!

Doug: No...need to get help. My time has come.

Tammy: Dad.

Tammy grabbed my left hand and began to tear up. I looked behind her and saw him. Malak stood in the corner of the room. On his middle finger of his right claw was a ring. He told me something that rehearsed me and vanished into the shadows. I turned to Tammy.

Doug: Malak's here. He told me I'll make it to heaven.

Tammy cried harder and smiled.

Tammy: Then tell mom I said hi.

Doug: I will.

A tiredness took over me and I soon passed on. I opened my eyes and saw I was floating in a void. Above me there was a bright white light and below me was a large flame. I started floating to the light and soon I came to it. When I opened my eye's again I was young again. And I saw her. Elise approached me.

Elise: I've been expecting you.

Heaven has been a surreal experience. Even if I've only been here for three days I feel wiser already. Me and Elise were walking through a village and as we passed a house we saw inside was Malak talking to other demonic and holy entities. Malak turned and saw me and Elise.

Malak: Doug, about time you come. Come in.

Amon: Malak, mortals shouldn't be in this meeting.

Malak: Must I remind you that this mortal and his wife saved our world.

Doug: What's going on?

Malak: There are things Doug that even we fear. You see there are different universes forming a multiverse. We've seen worlds were dinosaurs were resurrected by a crazed man, a world ruled by a tyrant who has plans for conquest, but the world that we are considering about is universe 4062. There is war going on in there. A war between a team of gods and him.

Elise put her hand over her mouth.

Elise: You don't mean.

Malak: Yes I do.

Malak walked to me and whispered I to my ear.
