Freak Show Part 3

Doug was shocked to be home, but was it home? No it couldn't be.

Malak: She's trying to get to you personally. Avoid your old home Mortal. She wants you to relive your past.

Doug walked down the empty road that was only occupied by cars and nothing else.

Malak: Wait, this isn't a nightmare realm, this is the future.

Doug: What?

Malak: I've seen this before in dreams.

Malak then start speaking in a language even unknown to demons, but Doug was able to make out a few english words. Something about an angel returning to God status, a God War in another universe, and a devil that nearly destroyed the wisdom tree. Malak's voice returned to normal after sometime.

Doug: What happened to you?

Malak: I'm sorry something took over me for a second.

Giant footsteps came from behind some buildings. Doug ran into a building and hid in a room. Looking outside the window he saw a six story humanoid torso. It had no legs or waist, walking on it's hands. It's face was smooth expect for several holes in it's skull. The thing walked off after a hour.

Malak: She hid it in the future so it would be more dangerous and more likely for her success. She is very smart.

Doug: Now what?

Malak: I don't know. For all we know we could be on the opposite side of the world from it.

Then someone walked up to Doug. His mother, but she was all distorted and ghost like.

Mother: You ungrateful brat. Relying on a demon to prevent you from going to hell. You belong there with your father.

Malak: Mortal we need to go. She might be working with Bierce.

Doug wanted to agree, but he saw the glint in her eyes. It gave the shape of the ring alter.

Doug: Your right about one thing Malak she is smart, but I'm better.

Doug rammed the crystals into his mother as she began to inflate.

Mother: No no. I refuse to die to a disgrace.

Doug: Yeah, that you made. When I return to my life I swear to never be you again.

After the last word she exploded.
