"You know we didn't even pack snacks, clothes. Nothing" Coco complains, placing her phone on her lap.
"I can't believe we're driving not flying." I say, Dallas groans.
"I'm sorry your majesty but, you can't have everything your way." He says. giving me attitude huh?
I roll my eyes, and look out the window. "Where are we going anyways?" Coco asks the boys.
They both look at each other with wide eyes.
"Yeah um about that." Christian says, "We're going to Yark University.." He says, stopping at a red light.
"WHAT." Coco and I both say.
"Holy shit, That's like a 17 hour drive." I say, putting my hands on my head.
They're joking right? Haha very funny guys.
"We're stopping at a hotel right? We're going to eat?" Coco says panicking.
"Yes, oh my god. Stop complaining." Dallas says rolling his eyes and looking back at the road.

Good thing we started driving at 9 am. It's been 5 hours, all Coco and I have been doing is sleeping.
"Are we there yet?"
"Are we there yet?"
"NO." Christian and Dallas yell at me and Coco.
Rude ass boys.
"Jeez I just wanted to know." Coco says, holding back her laughter.
"Can we stop at that McDonalds? I'm hungry." I say pointing to the fast food place coming up ahead.
"Sure, I'm hungry as well." Dallas says, turning into the McDonalds.
Dallas parks the car in the parking lot, we all get out and head inside the fast food place.
Coco and I found a table to sit at while the boy go order.
"So you and Chris?" She says, raising one eyebrow. Oh here we go again.. nosey Coco Rivera.
"Besties." I tell her.
She looks at me and hums. "Anyways, any sports for this new semester?" She asks me grabbing her cup from Dallas's hands.
"Eh kinda." I take a pause, "Is the dance team good here?" I ask her.
They all look at me, "You? A dancer?" Christian says sipping on his soda.
"You know, I see Kelani as a dancer." Dallas says, shoving his face with fries.
"Shut up you two." Coco says to the boys and looks back at me, "I'm on the dance team, if you really want to try out go for it. I know you probably know this, Yark is our rival and dance too."
"Trust me I know, I was on the dance team last year." I tell her biting in my McNugget.
"Woah wait hold up. You dance?" Christian says waving his hands.
"Dude that's literally what she just said." Dallas says to him. Exactly, what part do you know understand Irwin?
"I'm just. Surprised." He says carefully.
"Why?" I turn to him.
He looks back at me, "You just don't seem like the dancer type."
To be honest, I don't know if I want to get back into dance. Going against my old school is scary, going against Jules is even scarier.
"Hello? Earth to Kelani." Dallas says waving at me, I snap out of my thoughts and look back at him.
"Hey, yeah sorry." I say to him and stand up.
"It's fine, we were just leaving." I stand up and walk out the door.
I hear footsteps behind me, "Are you okay? You seem upset." He says then takes a pause.
"Is it Christian?"
"Riley? Oh god I hate her, she's so mean you know i'll fight her for you. Even though i'll go to jail for hitting a girl." he blurts out.
"Oh God no." I tell him walking to the car.
"Then what is it?" He asks me, walking beside me.
I ignore him and he turns me around, putting his hands on my shoulders.
"Kelani, you can tell me anything. I'm here for you." He tells me.
"I know Dallas. Nothing is wrong though." I give him a smile, turning back to open the car door.
"Okay, just looking out for you." He says getting in the car.
"Well shit" Christian says throwing his hands in the air. "Now we're ten minutes behind because ya'll decided to have a whole ass conversation"
Dallas laughs a bit, "Dude chill out, why are you so in a rush?"
"I want to be there when everyone is in their classes so we're not seen." He says putting on the GPS.
"Hey have you every thought maybe? Psh I don't know, people are still going to walk around campus?" I tell him.
Coco looks at me then back at them, "She's right, some people's classes start a different times."
Christian looks in the rear view mirror, looking at Coco and I in the back, "Just think positive." He says.
Just think positive, Right yeah. Great thinking Christian.
