In the time before the universe began, there were only the Elder Gods. One ruled over them all. This Elder God held power incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It's true name, unknown. Unpronounceable and unspeakable to the tongues of mortality. However, those on the rock formation known as Earth know it by one name. One name of the many it has gone by over the centuries, SHAQUILLE O' NEIL.
Shaq had many disciples. King Neptune, Aku, Reptar, Jorgen Von Strangle, and Shaggy. Just to name a few. Each were gifted with their own realm by Shaq. Each could probe and warp their realms to their liking. All, except one...
For, of them, all were loyal to their king, Shaq. All, except the thirteenth disciple, Ed. Ed was a trickster god. None of the other disciples could stand him. Him, or his antics. But, they tolerated him to maintain the balance of the universe.
Ed, however, was not content with simply being an annoyance. He was a God. And yet, to him, divinity was beneath him. He was far too ambitious. Far too greedy, to settle for such a role. He wanted Ultimate Power...
So, Ed journeyed to the dark dimension. There, he met Davy Jones, ruler of the dead. Davy Jones bestowed upon him the Supreme Divinity he so desired. With it, Ed plunged the multiverse into eons of chaos. When Shaq learned of his betrayal, he banished Ed to a pocket dimension. A dimension far, from ours. And yet, so insidiously alike.
There, Ed had to live out his punishment by working at the establishment known as Good Burger. There, he would have to complete a quest. However, every time the quest was complete, it would reset. In the middle of each repeat of the quest, Shaq would reveal himself to Ed and request a burger. If it was only a good burger, Ed would be doomed to repeat the quest again. And again. Only, when he has created the Ultimate Good Burger, would his penance be complete.
But what Shaq does not realize is that Ed does not WANT to leave the hellish dimension created for him. At first, he was dismayed at being forced to become a lowly frycook. A farcry from his original Divinity. But the longer he lived there, the more he realized he revels in the torment and suffering he causes for the inhabitants of the Pocket Dimension...
