I smiled in satisfaction, lowering my goggles. The young princess is not only in heat, but marked as well. The rest is only a matter of time. They will mate, and we will take the princess into safe keeping until the lycan is born.
I just have to be patient. The child must be conceived with the princess's mate or else they will be just an average wolf. Although, if the babe's parents die shortly after it's birth... No. We cannot kill the princess. Lycan's are vicious, only the calming touch of a mother would be enough to calm it down if it got angry. Besides... With the way they treated her when she was younger it will be easy to turn the runt against her pack. Hell, we might even be able to turn her against her mate.
"Sir the perimeter runs will be taking several members through here in a minute. We must go." a nervous wolf informs me. I nod, jumping down and starting to run in the opposite direction of the house, a white wolf following behind me.
