Mason quickly leads me out the door and over to the waiting car. He opens my door for me and I slide onto the cool leather seat.
"Here," he hands me one of those cute sleeper masks, "Put this on."
He keeps grinning like an excited puppy, and I can't help but think he might be a little crazy.
"Crazy about you Leah," he whispers into my mind, and I realize I had been accidentally letting him hear my thoughts. I wonder vaguely if he heard me thinking about how absolutely drop-dead gorgeous he looks, when his grin widens.
"Didn't hear that till just now," he laughs playfully, and I feel a blush spread itself across my face as he closes my door and hops into the drivers side.
"C'mon Leah put it on!" he whines, giving me puppy eyes, "I want it to be a suprise!"
I roll my eyes, unable to help but grin back at him as I put on the blindfold then relax into the seat, allowing my remaining senses to expand. I focus my ears on Mason's steady breathing, takng in his scent.
"So why does a restaurant need to be such a suprise?" I ask him, genuinely curious.
"Because we're not going to a restaurant silly," his voice is slightly teasing, "I just told Thea and Scar that because they were planning to follow us on our date,"
"Oh my god, are you serious?!"
"Yeah but it's okay, they have no idea where we're going," his hand intertwines with mine as he talks, squeezing it reassuringly.
We pull off then onto a road that must be gravel or dirt with the way the car is shaking, although it doesn't last for too long before we pull to a stop.
"You don't mind walking a little bit, right?" he asks me, and I can't help but think he sounds nervous.
"Why not?" I smile as he takes my hand again, helping me out of the car.
He leads me through what seems to be forest, judging by the smells and sounds of it. I'm focussing in on the birds' songs, when I smell something that's completely out of place. Salt Water.
"We're here," He whispers into my ear as we stop, the smell of saltwater that much stronger.
He slowly pulls off the blindfold and I gasp in amazement, "Oh my god Mason it's beautiful!"
We're standing at the edge of a small beach. Near the water theres a cabin and a dock and I can't help but think it looks like something out of a fairy tail.
"You like it?" He asks me, an excited smile on his face
"Of course! It's amazing!"
"I used to come here with my dad every weekend to go fishing. It's pretty private, nobody ever comes down here so I thought it would be perfect," he smiles, leading me forwards and into the cabin.
I look around in wonder, unable to help comparing the cozy little cabin to something out of a disney movie.
"So... are you still hungry?" he asks me with a slight smile
"Starving," I smile back, allowing him to lead me into a kitchen, "What are we having?"
"Well, I actually have no idea," he grins, leaning forwards and kissing my forehead
I roll my eyes, a grin spread across my face, "Does this place even have food?"
"Uh... I think so?" He looks towards the cabinets, seeming embarassed.
His eyes meet mine, and suddenly we're both laughing uncontrollably, my face pressed into his chest and his arms encircling me.
"You didn't make sure before we came?" I shake my head, a smile still on my face.
"Well, it was kind of a last minute idea to tell you the truth. I actually was planning on going to a restaurant before I heard them say they were going to follow us."
"So... Takeout?"
"I was thinking chinese,"
He smiles down at me, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out his phone. I rest my cheek against his chest, breathing in his scent as he orders our food.
"The food will be here in about fifteen minutes," He smiles down at me.
"Okay," I smile back at him.
I feel a shiver run down my spine from the intensity of his gaze. He leans down, his lips inches from my own. I know that he's giving me time to pull away, for me to ask him to stop. But I don't, can't. When his lips meet mine, it's like a jolt of electricity is sent through my entire body. I hear myself gasp, before my arms wrap around his neck and I'm kissing him back with a passion that I never knew I could have. I can feel his suprise as he pulls me roughly against him, his lips pressing hard against mine.
"Leah..." he moans softly against my lips, "I love you... I love you more than anything,"
"I love you too," I whisper back, feeling his arms tighten around me.
We fall backwards onto the couch, and I gasp slightly as I can feel it pressing hard against me. He kisses me more passionately, his lips parting mine. Our tounges intertwine as he pulls me down against him harder. His hands run slowly up my sides, and I swear my hearts about to explode out of my chest. His thumbs gently brush against the sides of my breasts, before moving to my back, finding the zipper on the dress and starting to pull it down. A slight sigh of pleasure escapes my mouth, and he rolls so that he's on top of me. I wrap my legs around him, pressing myself firmly against his hard-on. He moans, starting to pull my dress down.
That's when the doorbell rings.
