I get home from practice late. Justin is watching the tv in the living room when I walk in. He looks over at me, "Hi Riley."

"Hey," I grab a granola bar before walking to my bedroom. The light is on, which is odd because I never leave any lights on. I walk back to the living room, "Did you go into my room?"

Justin frowns, "No."

"Then why is my light on?"

"You probably left it on," he shrugs. Whatever. As long as he wasn't in my room, I don't care. I walk back to my bedroom and start taking off my sweater as I walk. I close my door once I'm inside and head straight to my closet to change.

"Riley." I jump and nearly scream at the sound of a voice coming from right next to me but a hand is pressed over my mouth. Normally I would fight back but I'm too shocked to move. My back is pressed to the wall. Hawk is standing in front of me, staring at me. "If I remove my hand please don't scream." I narrow my eyes at him but nod my head. He takes his hand off of my mouth, "You weren't answering any of my calls or texts. I didn't know how else to talk to you."

"I don't want to talk to you," I frown at him. "You're a traitor. You left Cobra Kai and you left me."

"You could've left with me," Hawk gives me a hard look. "You know that the fight at the Larusso's was too much. We broke into Sam's house! How is that okay in any way? I broke Demetri's arm and you were okay with it. That's wrong on so many levels, he used to be your friend."

"He's my enemy," I stare right back at him. "The Larusso's are my enemy. Apparently now you are too."

"I don't have to be," Hawk takes my hands. "You can leave Cobra Kai. Join Eagle Fang or Miyagi do. I'm sure Daniel would take you back."

I wrench my hands out of his, "I don't want to leave Cobra Kai."

"Why are you so attached to it?" Hawk looks down at me desperately. "Make me understand, I want to help you. What are you so afraid of?" He can't know that I'm too scared to leave. I'm not admitting that to him.

"I'm not afraid of anything or anyone."

"You loved me," he puts his hands next to my shoulders on the wall, blocking me with his body. He leans in closer, "We can still be together."

"You left me."

"I left Cobra Kai."

"I'm not talking about that!" I exclaim before pushing him away from me. "You left me at the school fight and I got completely beaten up. You didn't even care to ask me what happened. I've consistently been attacked and that only stopped when I became the person doing the attacking. I'm not leaving Cobra Kai, so you came here for nothing." I point at the door, "Get out."

Hawk frowns at me, "What happened at the school fight?"

"That is none of your business," I cross my
arms.

"I can't help you if you don't tell me what's going on."

"I don't want your help," I stare at him. I want him to know that I'm being serious, "I don't need your help. Leave."

He sighs as he backs away from me, "I won't give up on us." Then he silently walks out of my room, shutting the door behind him.

We're at the dojo, supposed to be thinking about our losses. We lost a bunch of students after the house fight. Many parents pulled their kid out and a bunch of them just left because they're pussies. We don't need them. Like Kreese says, you need to eliminate the weak link. It sucks though, most of the guys that I actually liked in this dojo left. Rickenburger is gone, Hawk is gone, a lot of the original guys from a Johnny's Cobra Kai. It feels like I'm training in a brand new dojo. At least there's nothing left to hold me back.
