How hard is it to fix a broken state of mind?

Hard enough that sometimes I think it's better to be broken.

That the cracks inside my head look more like gold veins and the holes where my memories should be overflow with rubies and sapphires.

Hard enough that to be broken is to be rich and to be fixed is the worst thing I could ever dream to be.

To bare such sweet sorrows. To drown in the glory of shattered hearts and cracking ribs.

How hard is it to fix a broken state of mind?

It's as easy as counting to three...

A quick band aid over skinned knees.

A few kind words and a light so bright it blinds.

Dire consequences that leave you incased in fire, burning loved ones to the ground as you ask again and again-

How hard is it to fix a broken state of mind?
