(Kanao's Pov)
No, no no no no, NO! I have failed, Shinobu-sama, Kanae-sama. I am sorry. I closed my eyes before the demon opened its mouth to devour me. "WATER BREATHING SECOND FORM: WATER WHEEL!" I voice shouted and I heard a katana cut through the arms of the demon. After that, I watched the fight between a boy with a pair of Hanafuda earrings, blue waves kimono, and a Mask on the left side of his forehead. I saw the demon launching the attack. I need to help, even with a broken ankle, I need to help him, that other boy took off and left us here. "Second Form: Honorable Shadow Plum" I yelled slashing the arms of the demon but getting myself knocked out by the second round of hands. Before I lost consciousness I saw the boy attacking the demon with flames but then everything went dark.

"Hey wake up, you ok?" a voice asked and I slowly opened them to see the boy with Hanafuda earrings. I took out my coin and tossed it. Heads. "I am fine thanks. I need to continue on my way now. Good luck." I said simply. As I was standing up, my coin fell but I didn't care about it then. "Well, I'll be off see ya!" He said before leaving. "Coin where is my coin." I mumbled. As I was looking for it I heard footsteps coming and saw the same boy who held the coin.
(Tanjiro's Pov)
A frantic scent, desperate for her coin. She must really rely on that coin of hers. I looked down and found it. I turned around and walked back. "Looking for this?" I said as I saw her looking for it. She looked up and thanked me for finding it. "Why do you, use a coin, and why do you flip it?" I asked out of curiosity. "Well, I use the coin to make my decisions for me since I can't do it myself. So I use the coin and give myself two options and flip it." "Well, let do this, if it is heads you follow your heart and if tails you continue the way you have always done it ok?" I asked and she nodded. I flipped the coin and then caught it and it was...

"Great so you don't need this coin but keep it if you want. Anyways since you are injured, do you think it's ok to stay together until you have completely healed then we can separate how about that?" I gave her my proposal to the idea and she nodded.
(Timeskip to last day of final selection)
Great 5 more demons coming this way. Better use Sensei's nichirn sword and kill these five. "Hinokami Kagura Setting Sun Transformation!" My blade slashed off all of their heads and I landed softly next to the disintegrating bodies. I looked around and found that I was near the bottom of the mountain, so I made my way to the wisteria tree line and made my way to the exit. I saw Kanao, 3 other boys, one with yellow hair, one with a scar that smelled somewhat like a demon, and a boar head kid with 2 blades?
"Welcome back everyone. You have survived and passed the test." The twins said in unison. "There are 10 ranks in the Demon Slayer Corps, Mizunoto, Mizunoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe... (YA KNOW DA REST. IF YA DON'T, SEARCH IT UP!) You all start at the lowest, Mizunoto. You will now choose the ore for your swords."
I walked up to the table with ore and picked one that smelled like the fire was radiating out of it, but also calm. I went over picked my ore and I was going to catch up with Kanao before the scar-faced kid grabbed one of the twins and started yelling for his blade immediately. I intervened and dislocated his arm that was holding the girls head. "You know you shouldn't be doing that and be patient for once. It takes 15 days for the swords to be made so calm down your fat head." I said cooly. "KANAO! How are you?"I waved and ran over to say hi. "Hell oTanjiro, I am fine thanks to you, and I managed to survive for the remaining days perfectly fine." She replied. We were walking down towards the bottom of Mt. Fujikasane when a lady in an insect patterned haori walked up. "Kanao, great job in surviving Final Selection, Come on let's head back. Wait and who is this?" The lady asked. "Let me introduce myself. I name is Tanjiro Kamado, Student of Urokodaiki. I was with Kanao here for the first 4 days due to an injury in a fight against demons." I answered politely. (You got to have some manners OK?) "Oh, how silly of me. My name is Shinobu Kocho, Kanao's sister, I am the insect Hashira of the corps." INSECT HASHIRA?! Wait so Kanao was trained by the current insect Hashira. "Well, Goodbye, I have to head to Mt. Sagiri. See ya Kanao!" I waved to the sisters as I left Mt Fujikasane.
(TIMESKIP to arriving at Mt Sagiri)
Urokodaiki, I have returned. I walked up the mountain road and arrived at the house. Nezuko and Urokodaiki were sitting and eating dinner. I opened the door and smiled at the two. "Oni-chan!" Nezuko dashed towards me and hugged me. "Nezuko, Urokodaiki, I'm back." I said before falling unconscious.
