I'M BACK! Also Thank you everybody who has read up to this point. This book was just something I would enjoy writing in my free time so thank you for the views and reads. So Kanae is still alive from the last chapter. What will happen to Kanao and Shinobu when they find out that she is still alive.
(Kanao's POV)
"Who are you, my sister died 10 years ago. You are not my sister Kanae." I picked up my sword. "Flower breathing Second form: Honorable Shadow Plum." I slashed at her, Kanae knocked my sword out of my hands. I looked in shock at her. "You have grown a lot but you are not strong enough." She said. I got back up and Shinobu came bursting through the bedroom door with Giyu. "Kanae..." I heard Shinobu mutter. "Who the hell are you." Kanae looked at Shinobu. "Let me explain. My body disappeared the day I supposedly died. In reality, I woke up and left. I was heading towards Butterfly estate, I got lost and then I was cold but then I was found by Sanemi. He protected me for 10 years with his brother Genya." I looked in shock. "Why did you not show yourself until now?" Shinobu asked. "He said that since everybody thought that I was dead, Sanemi and I agreed that I should disguise myself for ten years and see how well you could fight against demons. I'm impressed Shinobu." Kanae said. "Well, I think that you should have at least told us that you were still alive." Kanae looked guiltily at us. "I know but then I would have been sent back into the field and you would never have become a Hashira Shinobu. I want to step aside and let you take over." Shinobu looked at Kanae. "Sister..." Shinobu then hugged Kanae. "Sorry, Shinobu." She said quietly.
(Next morning) (Tanjiro's POV)
The slayers have managed to cut through most of the boulders but they still haven't been able to beat me. "Tanjiro, all of them managed to pass my training regime and they are done with the training," Nezuko said. "Great, most of the slayers have also passed mine but some are still training." "Hey, can we go?" A slayer asked. "Have you cut that boulder?" "No." I looked at him. "Use your breath style to cut it." He looked up and tried it. "Good. You can leave for your missions." He left for his missions. I walked around the new mansion. "Kanao should be able to teach the slayers something as well." I entered the living room to see Nezuko and Zenitsu chatting with Kanao and Genya. I walked in. "I am surprised to see you and Genya here. What are you two doing here may I ask?" Genya spoke up first. "Well, since this mansion is one of the largest ones, we decided to come and visit. I heard slayer complain about how hard training is here." I laughed. "Well, they aren't wrong, the only hard challenge is the rock which they need to cut." Genya and Kanao chuckled at this. "Tanjiro, I heard of your new blade, can you show us what it looks like? I'm very curious from Kanao's and Zenitsu's description of it." I nodded and unsheathed my black sword. Genya was shocked at how it looked. "Interesting, the blade design is like Kyojuros handle and it has a flame-like design on the blade." He said. I nodded and we chatted for some time before Genya left for his home.
I exited the mansion. I went out to get another boulder but bigger than the ones the slayer had cut. "Tanjiro, what are you doing?" Zenitsu and Kanao were watching me pull the boulder. "Oh, I just thought of combining Kyojuro's and Urokodaki's training regimes to increase my sense and other things." Zenitsu yawned. "Well, I'll hit the hay. Night." He said and went to his section of the mansion. "Kanao aren't you going to go and sleep?" She shook her head. "I actually wanted to train more so I came here. Can I join you?" I nodded and I pulled the boulder in place. "Now it's to cut this thing." I drew my old sword and took my fighting stance. "Tanjiro, won't your sword break?" She asked worriedly. "Don't worry, I sliced one smaller than this on Mount Sagiri," I said and remembered the memory of fighting Sabito's ghost. I took aim and slashed at the boulder, but it only scraped the side. I tried again and this time, it was the same result. "Hinokami Kagura Dance." I slashed with my Dance and it broke in half. Kanao looked shocked. "How did you break that? You couldn't have slashed it again did you?" I looked at the boulder, there was two cuts, one horizontal and the other vertical. I was shocked and looked around to see who had made the second cut. I then remembered that there was flame dance that hits twice. I continued with Urokodaki's training. For Kyojuro's training, I remembered that he used to train speed and attacks. I found two dummies and placed them in different positions and started training against them.
I trained until dawn. Inosuke and Zenitsu walked out to the training area to see me and Kanao sparring. "Flower Breathing Sixth Form: Whirling Peach." "Nice moves Kanao. Hinokami Kagura Flashing Dance." I sped past her attack and hit her gently with my wooden sword and the training was over. "HOW DA HELL DID YA USE THUNDER BREATHING!" Inosuke shouted. I looked at him and sighed. "Zenitsu showed me the movements and I incorpatrated it into my Sun Breathing moves. He looked shocked. Then Kanao gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Good job, in beating me." I smiled at her.
Kanao and I left out on a mission which was to find a demon on a mountain. "What is up with demons on mountains." I said. We were running at a fast pace and reached the mountain soon enough. "Lets go up, I smell something from the top of the mountain." We ran up the mountain and found a temple. I unsheathed my sword and saw the door open. A hand opened it. A man with walked out. His Silvery hair glistened in the moon light. "Ahh, are you visitors that I was expecting today." He asked. "No, infact, we are here to check out this place." Kanao replied. I pickedup a demon scent from the guy. "Have you by any chance heard of the Demon moons." Kanao also caught on to what I was thinking about. I drew my sword and held it up. "Hinokami Kagura Fire Wheel." "Flower Breathing Fourth form: Honorable Shadow Plum." Our swords reached his neck but he drew his fans came out. Ice formed around the building. "Hinokami Kagura BENEFIECENT RADIANCE." My sword burst into flames while Kanao's flowery look appeared and we both hit Upper Rank 2 in the face. He surprisingly managed to block our attacks with his fans. Small ice lotus appeared on the water and our surroundings. "You can't use your breathing now you will die due to my lotus freezing your lungs." Douma laughed. "Hinokami Kagura Thirteenth form." I used all of my moves and I managed to hit him in the body but he blocked most of my other moves. "Tanjiro, watch out!" Small ice people appeared from the lotuses and was about to use their attacks on me. Kanao appeared and slashed them into pieces. "Thanks, hang on. Hinokami Kagura EVER-LASTING PHOENIX SONG." My sword hit Douma's neck and clanged. "You can't cut my neck like that." I felt my temperature rising. My scar changed, my hair looked like it was aflame. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I pushed harder. I need to survive, for Kanao, and to protect her. Ice people appeared again and was attacking Kanao. "Water Breathing Eleventh form modified: Death Zone." Giyu had arrived. "Giyu-san." Kanao said. I focused on Douma now. "HINOKAMI KAGURA SETTING SUN TRANSFORMATION." I jumped upside down and used the momentum to cut through Douma's neck.
BANG, CLING! But then before I could finish the job, Akaza arrived. "Well, well, well. Seems you and Kyojuro managed to survive after our fight." I grit my teeth. "I personally think that Kyojuro should have become a demon, but no matter. You are better fit for the job." I then used my headbutt move and sent him flying into the temple. Kanao kicked Douma in there as well. "We'll be back for revenge. SO BE READY TO FIGHT TO THE DEATH!" Akaza shouted. I watched as the temple room disappeared. I looked at the now shabby and broken down temple. "Let's head back, this mission was a fail." Giyu and Kanao nodded. The crow flew back to the masters mansion.
We walked and also chatted about other stuff before I picked up a scent. We were close to the butterfly estate so when I dashed over to it. I saw the place on fire. "KOCHO!" Giyu shouted. Giyu and I dashed in and put out the fire. Shinobu was fine but shocked. "We were attacked by a demon. He used Thunder Breathing and blew the mansion up." Shinobu said weakly.

TODAY'S TAISHO ERA SECRET: Tanjiro's Sword was made from Yoriichi's swords rsuted shape and was repaired. The sword is almost indestructable due to how hard and sturdy it is.
