Giyu pov
After confronting Iguro, I straight up went home. Arguing with him really drained me, though hopefully, I've managed to talk the least bit of sense into him of why what he did was wrong. I plopped into my bed and closed my eyes and let sleep overtake my senses. Or at least I thought that would happen, I laid awake for a while, and when I actually started to fall asleep of course I was interrupted, by the person I least expected to see, the one and only snake, Iguro.

"Can we not do this right now? I'm fucking tired" I said annoyed, he scoffed at me, "I didn't come here to argue, I came here to, say as much as I hate to say it, you were right" I could not believe my ears, Iguro, admitting he was wrong?! To someone that isn't Mitsuri?! Either I actually fell asleep and this was a dream, or this was actually happening. "Come Again." I said shocked "I said, you were right! I shouldn't have treated Mitsuri like that, and I'm taking responsibly of my actions!" He said embarrassed from admitting his wrong doings, "holy shit, this is actually happening." I said still in disbelief, "ugh, okay I'm leaving, I don't wanna be seen with you."

he quickly left, and instead of immediately returning to the comfort of my own bed (as much as I wanted to), I changed back into my regular clothes, and went for Shinobu's estate, there was no way I was gonna make it through the entire night without telling someone of the extremely rare scene that just befell before me. I still can't process that he actually admitted to being wrong, especially to me, he hates me. I guess it makes sense though, I was the only one who said anything.

========================================

I arrived there in no time at all, and saw one of Shinobu's protégés. "Aoi, can you tell Shinobu I need to see her, it's urgent." she seemed confused, as there was no wounds on me, but she knew not to question a hashira's wishes and did as instructed. I didn't have to wait long before Shinobu graced me with her presence "would you like to tell me what was so important I was awoken from my sleep?" She said clearly angry.

"Once I tell you, you'll see it was worth it." she raised an eyebrow and waited for me to continue "so today I confronted Iguro to try and knock some sense into him, and just now he showed up at my estate telling me that that I was right, and that he takes full accountability for what he did" Shinobu could not believe her ears, she immediately coughed in disbelief and her eyes were wide, "Iguro? Like the snake hashira Iguro? We're talking about the same person?" I nodded in confirmation and Shinobu couldn't process what I said, "you were definitely right, this was worth while, I'm not gonna let Iguro live this down. You best believe I'm gonna bring this up any time I get the chance to" she said with a devilish smirk on her face.

I slightly smiled at her, and she immediately dropped everything as she stared mesmerized, "you good there?" I said snapping her out of her trance, "oh yeah, fine definitely not staring aha" she said while her cheeks turned pink. I kissed her forehead abruptly and said my goodbye leaving a very flustered Shinobu behind. "I can't believe he just did that." I heard her mumble before I was gone, I smiled once more at how easily Shinobu got flustered. I arrived back at my estate, and was finally allowed to sleep.
