Apologizing

Giyu pov
Me and Mitsuri were enjoying the sweet moment we were having until it was interrupted. "CAW, CAW! ALL HASHIRA TO THE UBUYASHIKI MANSION! YOU HAVE A MEETING WITH OYATAKA-SAMA! REPEAT! REPEAT! ALL HASHIRA TO THE UBUYASHIKI MANSION! YOU HAVE A MEETING WITH OYATAKA-SAMA" The crow says before finally leaving

Mitsuri and I reluctantly pull away from our hug, "I guess we'd better get going them Giyu Oni-chan" she says, I nod and we head out to the Ubuyashiki residence, what could possibly be so important, did someone encounter another moon? DID SOMEONE ENCOUNTER MUZAN?! Before I can think of anything else we had already arrived at the mansion. There were a few others, Tokito was already there, so was Hemejima and Shinobu. Oyataka-sama hadn't arrived yet, so they were just talking. "Ah, Good afternoon Tomioka and Kanroji-san" Hemejima said "I pray nothing bad has happened that called for a hashira meeting" we all just engage in small talk, well at least the others did, I didn't say much.

Eventually Uzui arrived and he joined in the conversation they were all having. Then Shinazugawa, and then the person I was dreading the most having to see. The snake man, Iguro Obanai. When he arrived, he immediately went up into his usual spot in his tree. He and Mitsuri briefly made eye-contact before turning their heads away from each other. I frown,  I assume it's going to take a bit more time for him to be ready to face her and apologize. "Oyataka-sama has arrived" the girls announced. He stepped foward and we all instantly formed a line and bowed to Oyataka-sama. "Good day to you Oyataka-sama, I hope you are in good health." Shinazugawa said "thank you, Sanemi." He started "you all might be wondering why I have called this meeting" he continued.

"I've heard that there was a disagreement between three of the hashira as some of may know, and we cannot have that can we? We need to all be getting along. Now, would Giyu, Mitsuri, and Obanai please step foward" we all step foward while Uzui, Shinazugawa, Hemijima, and Tokito were all confused about what was happening. "Now, Giyu, since you are un bias, and won't try to change any part of the story, please explain to me what happened a few days ago." He requested calmly, I nodded and began explaining "Mitsuri and I were together walking out of a restaurant, when we saw Iguro near by. When he saw us he was absolutely furious and tried to drag Mitsuri away from me while telling her that he didn't want her hanging around me, because 'I look down on you guys.' " I pause

"Mitsuri was confused and she was starting to get frustrated telling Iguro to stop dragging her, and to not insult me any further. But Iguro kept pushing so Mitsuri snapped at him and them left. To which Iguro then proceeded to blame me for the whole thing. And then I snapped back at him because he didn't and wouldn't realize his own mistakes. That is all" I finish,  I look over to see a bunch of shocked faces behind me, not Tokito's though, he's too busy staring at a cloud. "Thank you Giyu" Oyataka-sama responded. "Now that we know what actually happened. Obanai will taking punishment. He caused the situation. So Obanai, for your punishment, I want you to formally apologize to both Mitsuri and Giyu this instant." Oyataka-sama explained. "Oyataka-sama, there's no need for him to apologize to me. He's already done so" I explain, he looks at me, thinks for a moment.

"Well then, I'll just have him apologize to Mitsuri alone" I give Mitsuri a reassuring look, and step back until I'm next to the other hashiras again. They're standing face to face, about a yard away from each other. "I-" Iguro starts, both he and Mitsuri start fidgeting with their clothes. "I'm really sorry! I don't know why I acted like that! I didn't mean to control you, I just wanted what was best for you!" He rambles, and then bows right after. "I don't expect forgiveness, I just want you to acknowledge my accountability of my actions." I have to say I'm impressed, I didn't think he would apologize to her in front of everyone, much less apologize right now, I didn't think he was ready yet. I guess I was wrong, but all that's left now, is to see if she forgives him. The suspense is killing me.

"I don't forgive you, yet, but if you stop being so jealous, and let have other friends besides you, then I'll forgive you" Mitsuri stated. He nodded disappointedly. Before both of them returned to places next to the hashiras. "Well, now that this has been settled, this hashira meeting has come to a conclusion, you may all leave."
