𝐀nother day rolled by and Klaus had gone out to go collect Sophie, he eventually returned with her.

I was sat in the chair opposite her while Klaus stood in front of her.

"We had a deal. You protect my unborn child, I dismantle Marcel's army", Klaus said with frustration in his voice. Sophie looked at me for help but I simply shrugged, "and whilst I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Hayley to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches".

Klaus walked over and took a seat next to me while Rebekah sat on the arm rest.

"I had nothing to do with it, I swear. Hayley and I are linked, remember? She dies. I die.", Sophie begged.

"Then who were they?" I asked.

"They're a fraction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision about the baby", Sophie said.

Klaus looked to me before asking Sophie.

"What kind of vision?"

"She has them all the time, they're totally open to interpretation. I'm guessing she's wrong on this one", Sophie said.

"Well, how, may I ask, was this particular vision interpreted?" Klaus asked, leaning forward.

"Pretty much that your baby would bring death to all witches", Sophie hesitated before saying.

"You say that like it's a bad thing", I smile, making her gulp under my glare.

"I agree with Melena, I seem to grow fonder of this child by the second", Klaus smiles.

"Sophie, look. I promised Elijah that I would protect the Mikaelson miracle baby whilst he tries to win, your witch, Davina's loyalty. Why don't you tell me just how extreme this fraction is?" Rebekah asked.

"Elijah talked to Davina?" Sophie asked almost shook.

"Yes, as we speak, I imagine", Rebekah said, crossing her legs.
