𝐈t was now the next day, I was currently sat with Rebekah, Hayley, and a witch called Agnes. She gave me an off feeling but I decided to put it past me as she was trying to help the child.
"Told you Agnes, I feel great", Hayley said as she flipped the page of the book she was reading.
"You are overdue for a check-up", Agnes said, trying to convince Hayley to get her baby checked.
"What am I going to do, pop into the quarter for a quick ultrasound? A pregnant werewolf escorted by a witch? Nothing to see here", Hayley sarcastically states.
"I find it funny how you're not that bothered, many would kill to have a child of their own. You managed to have that luxury and you're, what? Going to not go because you feel like you don't?" I ask her, making her look to me and she was clearly thinking it over again.
"I know a doctor out in the bayou, off the beaten path. Now, I took the liberty of making the appointment for tonight, after hours. Just us", Agnes said, "vampires will never get word of it".
Hayley looks at me and I nod, making her shut the book.
"Okay, fine. Bayou baby doctor it is", Hayley sighed.
I walk over to Rebekah while everyone else leaves the room, taking a seat next to her on the couch.
"What are you looking for?" I ask her, looking down at the laptop.
Before she could reply Klaus walked in.
"Please, sister, tell me you're not still at it with the internet search", Klaus muttered, "how does one begin, anyway? Just type in anonymous attic?".
"Someone has to find Elijah, even if I have to search every bloody attic in New Orleans", Rebekah said, continuing typing.
"Like looking for a needle in a rather large pile of needles", Klaus jokes, drinking from the glass he had just made himself.
"I remember details about the attic Marcel took me to. There were shutters on the windows behind Elijah's coffin", Rebekah said as if she was recalling details.
