"Sim Jaeyun istg if you don't come fast I will leave you alone!" Jay shouted from outside the house.
"Don't be so grumpy you old man." Jungwon hit his arm and looked at him. "Why do you always blame me? Jake is so slow but you won't scold him, you always scold me!" Jay yelled. "Aww are you mad? Are you sulking?" Sunghoon teased Jay and laughed.
"What games are you going to try at the arcade?" Sunoo asked Jake as he was jumping around the whole corridor of the mall. "I don't know.....I like all of them. Its been a while I haven't been to arcade.....with true friends." Jake said thinking to himself again.
They decided to play some games on the arcade, then they spotted a haunted house over there. 02z were ready to run away from there, but Jungwon and Sunoo weren't ready to let them go. So they had to enter the haunted house by force. So Jay was clinging to Jungwon and Sunoo was forcefully dragging Sunghoon along with him to go ahead. Darkness, full darkness, the last time Jake encountered this feeling was when he was locked in the janitor's room by some students in Australia.
Jake started panicking and he just held the person next to him tightly. He felt the person next to him flinched. "I- I'm sorry but can I hold you until we reach to the end?" Jake asked softly. "Yes." The other boy spoke and Jake could feel that he chuckled.
As they moved towards the exit, suddenly lights started flickering and a skeleton came out just in front of Jake's face. He screamed tightly hugging the person next to him, the person patted his back to assure him that he is safe.
"Shit, we left Jake alone, JAKE ARE YOU OKAY?" Jay asked yelling in the haunted house and his voice echoed.
"Yes I'm okay Jay. You go ahead." Jake replied, not leaving the person next to him. Why did I even agree to do this at the first place, I'm just never going to haunted houses again. This was all he could think. As they finally went towards the light that indicated the exit, Jake could finally open his eyes. He saw his cousin and friends looking at him worriedly, then he realised he is still holding a person tightly.
He looked by his side and found a familiar guy smiling at him. "Riki?!" Jake nearly screamed as he didn't expect Riki to be there.
"Hi, Jake hyung! You should....just not go to haunted houses from now on-" Riki said smiling awkwardly when Jake noticed his friends trying not to laugh.
"Riki what are you doing in the arcade though, I thought you had a training?" Sunghoon said raising his eyebrows. "I took a leave, my friend over here, Daniel, he came from America today so I wanted to hang out here, but I didn't expect that I'll meet Jak- I mean you guys here." He said.
"Jake how do you know Riki?" Sunghoon asked. "Well he helped me when I was injured." Riki said looking at Jake, smiling. Deep inside Jake felt happy that he helped someone, he helped a good person.
Riki and Daniel joined the group the whole day to spend along with. They played some games, ate some good food and made their ways to home. "Jake, let's go." Jay said as he accompanied Jungwon and Sunoo to Sunghoon's car.
"Jake hyung!" Jake stopped as he heard the younger boy calling him and running to him. "Um- you know- Can we have lunch together tomorrow? In the uni canteen? I want to be closer to you and want to know you more." Riki said to him.
Jake smiled and nodded. His hands went to Riki's hair as he ruffled them. "Sure, why not?"
"Sim Jaeyun. 89. Impressive when you just transferred last month." Jake collected his test paper as Mrs. Kim smiled at him.
"You are so smart- please share some braincells with me too!" Sunoo pouted as he looked at his sheet full of red marks and number 65 written at the top. "You can do this Sunoo, how about we study together for tests?" Jake said looking at him.
