Heeseung shifted a bit away from the younger as he took seat next to him. The sun was about to set and the breeze was swaying touching the boys' cheeks delicately. The older stole a glance to Jaeyun. He looked ethereal.
"Are you okay? What happened hyung?" The younger male finally asked.
"Can I ask you something?" Heeseung asked as he suddenly looked at Jake.
"Yes, go ahead."
"Why did you forgive me? Don't you find me weird and annoying and cruel and heartless and selfish just like the whole world does?" He asked sighing.
"I used to think like that, until I read this." Jake said, handing over the diary to Heeseung.
"H-how did you get this-" The older widened his eyes.
"Well, Mr. Lee came to see you when you were in the hospital, he was crying badly, he gave me this diary." The younger explained.
"Why would that old man cry for me? He doesn't even care about me? To be honest, I don't think anyone does and I deserve it."
"But I care about you Heeseung. I care about every frown and every smile that comes up on your face. You aren't a bad person, and I know that you're improving for better." Jaeyun said as he looked straight in Heeseung's eyes.
That was it, the older hugged him as he started tearing up. He was trying to keep stuffs in his mind, but now, no. He had to share it with Jake.
The younger kept patting Heeseung's to assure him that he's by his side, and that made him cry more. It's been long since he didn't feel love.
"I want to know you better, and I'm willing to listen, hyung." Jake said as he pulled back from the hug watching the older sniffling cutely.
"My mom, she passed away when I was just 6. Nobody knows the reason, people say she commited suicide. After that, I trusted dad. I wanted to trust him because I had no option left, as I turned 18, I worked in cafés and parks and tourist destinations. I earned money for myself because I slowly started to know and understand what kind of man my dad is." Heeseung said as he sighed and wipes his tears.
"Why did he send people to beat you? Does he hate you this much?"
"He wants me to inherit his business , but I'm not interested in that. Music is my life and passion. I can't leave music, he has been forcing me to work with him since years, he calls me names, he used to slap me everyday, and I really thought that there was no good person in the world, until I met Beomgyu, he helped me a lot."
"I'm....sorry hyung."
"Do you want me to remind you how badly I treated you? Tell me about you Jayeun, I know the brief story but what actually happened?" The older said as he looked willing to listen.
"I....was born weak. Since I was a kid, I was physically weaker than the other guys of my age. My parents wanted me to be a kind person. They taught me to be kind and friendly to everyone. But this world says "men should be strong". I can fight, but I don't want to hurt anyone, because that's what I have been taught.
In my previous school, they used to bully me because I didn't used fight anyone. They used to hit me and make me run errands just because I was kind to everyone. Then I decided to come to Korea. Since then, I used to keep telling myself that I'm strong, I'm not weak. Hyung, tell me, is it my fault? All I did was just that I was kind to others." The younger teared up as he finally let it all out."Jake you aren't weak, trust me, you are one of the strongest people I have ever met, and I know sorry can't change what I did to you but I really want to assure you that I'm by your side now."
