((Y/n)'s POV)
"Everyone, this is (Y/n). (Y/n), meet my family." He smiled widely at the timid girl. The others turned to the door as she half smiled at him.

It was breakfast time and he had convinced her to come see his family. Phil smiled at her as she did a little curtsy. Techno kind of smirked, but he was trying to be friendly. Tommy gave her a gape. Wilbur had been able to convince her to leave her hair blue, which did cause quite a stir amongst the servants. She still had pulled it up into a messy bun.

"Hello." She said shyly. "It's nice to meet you."

"HOW IS YOUR HAIR BLUE, WOMAN?!" His younger brother shouted. Will facepalmed.

"Hush, Tommy. She's a guest." Scolded Phil. "I'm sorry about him." She shrugged in response.

"It's better than what I get from my father. And it's natural, Tommy." She had been schooled on who was who already. The brunette tugged on her sleeve as the young blonde tried to contemplate what she said.

"Come on and eat." His smile never faltered. She nodded and took a seat next to him. She ate slowly on her fruit as Tommy and Techno started to argue about the best spread for toast. She smiled to herself. They are all so much like a family. I wish I had this. "Hey, Dad, could (Y/n) stay here for awhile?" Wilbur suddenly asked making his brother's shut up.

"I don't see why not." Her heart warmed at his kindness as he smiled at her.

"Thank you." She said. Will had said Techno had told him about what had happened. She tugged on the sleeves of her day dress when she finished her small serving. "Can I get a tour of the castle, please?" She looked at Wilbur, who glanced at her plate.

"Don't you want to eat more?" She quickly shook her head. He drew his lips together in concern. "Okay then. We'll be going then. Bye, guys!" He took her hand and led her out the door as she waved.

~(An hour later since I'm lazy)~
"And here is the library." She gasped at the rows and rows of shelves all crowded with books. He smiled as she spun around, taking it all in.

"It's beautiful." She breathed. Not hesitating, she ran to a nearby shelf and grabbed at random. Will laughed as she practically danced towards a couch in the reading lounge. "I used to always hide away in the library when my father was angry. There's just so much to learn. See?" She held up the book she had grabbed to show a drawing of a horse.

He smiled as he sat beside her and the two read it. The title was All About Horses. She loved animals, so it was a great find for her. A few minutes later, she felt a weight on her shoulder. She glanced and saw Wilbur's peaceful face. His glasses slightly falling down as he slept. A ghost of smile appeared on his lips as she combed his hair with her fingers.

He's been really nice to me. Even if sometimes he gives me those glances of worry I assume. He did find me in a weird way. She pondered, setting her book down. She yawned and leaned her head back. This was one of her many days being free and she was going to enjoy it. Her eyes slowly drifted shut, not even thinking of her old home. No. She had found a new place. Full of warmth and welcome. She smiled as she slept in peace for once.

(Schlatt's POV)
She should have been back by now! He raged silently. An empty bottle stood on his desk. Behind his throne was as door to his office. It was dingy with dust, smoke, and alcohol. An old stub of a cigarette was crushed on the floor. Where is that girl?! He slammed his fist on the desk in frustration. He grabbed a full bottle from under the beat up piece of furniture and took a big swig. He jumped at a small tap on the door.

"What is it?" He asked, irritated. Did she finally get here?

"Sire. There's a letter from the Artisa palace." The timid maid waited for a response. A letter?

"Slip it under the door." He said, more calmly now. Sure enough. A white envelope slipped in. A little wobbly on his feet, he grabbed it. "What could this be about?" He murmured as he took another swig of booze.

With unsteady fingers and mind, he ripped open the pristine paper. A small, but official looking letter fell out. It was short and to the point, that's why he hated it. It read as follows:

To his majesty, King Schlatt.
It has come to my attention that during our banquet, your daughter, Princess (Y/n), attempted to take her life by leaping from a balcony. Thankfully, she was stopped before she could. I've taken it upon myself to watch over her and help her recover mentally. She will not be able to return to you until I have determined she is well enough to travel and not be a danger to herself. I apologize if this inconvenient.
Signed,
King Philza

He stared in disbelief at the message. Glass shattered as the bottle he clenched broke from too much pressure.

"What the heck!" His shout echoed into the huge room beyond. "That little wench! When I get my hands on that girl...." He fumed as he gripped his hair in frustration. Should he go there? No, that wouldn't work. Maybe a messenger? An embassy? He shook his head as it swirled with ideas.

He had to wait for the right moment. He tossed the note into the trash as he passed out of the room. That little ungrateful girl will get what's coming to her. Just you wait....
